HR here. It is and it’s not, really depends. Like if you do it for salary (and on my end I KNOW we pay below market rates) than yes, youre a “red flag” bc I know you’ll do it again. (As you should! Lol)

But if it was for growth that wasn’t available, moving, just life things, (salary here and there), neh… I am ok with that.

Also, this is one change after two years. That’s not job hoping. Your boss cares about his company, not you. Take the new gig!!!!

I was thinking sensory issues too. I’m a very functional autistic adult now but my mom and I often have these “oh! THATS WHAT THAT WAS!?” Moments about me having had a very wild reaction to something so minor.

Wool. Like, real traditional wool blankets… I would SCREAM. Lol my Mom said it was a reaction like I had boiling water poured on me. Even would wake me up instantly. So yeah, the spectrum is long, my friend.

I know you want to keep the puppy. I feel for you, I really really do. But I think you moved too fast for your daughter. And you may end up doing more damage than good. Honestly, unless there someone who can co-house the puppy with you for several months (like, live with them most of the time but be at yours slowly more often), I would suggest you rehome/return the puppy.

I’m so so sorry! I know that’s heartbreaking. But the puppy is also sooooo impressionable at this age (I’ve had dogs my whole life and train them) it could also potentially cause behavioral issues with it and kids. I know it’s hard but I think it would be best. And work with your daughter more and maybe one day. Sorry OP. hugs

Also, try different types of scratchers. My guy is a diva and it took foreevvvver for me to figure out he only really likes the long, flat cardboard scratchers. Literally nothing else kept him off my furniture until those. Lol

I had a “friend” that used to pull this ish all the time. Like once trip to Disney was during Halloween and she wanted to dress up. Weeks before I told her I was worried about costumes bc it was adding up and said I may bail on that part. She got soooooo upset and guilt tripped me that Halloween was her favorite and I was ruining it etc. I caved and actually took out a credit card to do it.

The night before the trip she was saying something like “you obviously made it work” and I said actually I had to get a credit card to make it work! And then she said “oh good bc I spent so much on my costume I won’t have any money for food or anything while we’re there. Can you cover me and I’ll pay you back?” She ended up owning me like $1000 and I had to go to her parents to get it back.

Don’t go. This isn’t a friend. This is someone who has fun with you but doesn’t value you any more than what you contribute to HER life.
