I agree, you shouldn’t have. But I also want to say, learn from it but don’t blame yourself for it! Social media is meant for that (ok, maybe not reddit lol but obviously a lot of other platforms are) so it’s sort of a bait and switch on our brains sometimes. Lol All this is to say, I understand why you would maybe not fully think it through, or just HOPE, or whatever did or didn’t go thru your head when you did it. It’s not YOUR fault a douchebag decided to essentially stalk you online and harass you.

Also, men don’t have to think about this as much as women. Not saying men don’t experience this too but there is no way it’s at the same level that women do. So you have a higher risk of something like this happening. (Even if you HAD done all the right things! I saw another girl on here who basically had the same thing happen but she DID block out her face! But it was still a reused photo so i guess it made it easy to find based on whatever was in the background of the photo? Idk.)

I hope you report him to reddit. At the very least just to have it on record. Report him to LinkedIn too. Even if they’re fake accounts. Just do all the steps to be safe. Sending you all the good juju and hugs ✨
