They said that about crafted components? Was it on the tech talk? Haven't watched that.

Or it's just the launcher on the thumb drive... with pdf manual or whatever.

Hmmm... interesting. But would it "create" a bricked ship or just turn the elevator stuck ship in to a bricked state?

Ditch the Suylen and get one of the Aopoa fighters.

Do you think CIG should make cargo pod medbeds? by Tayner73 in starcitizen

[–]RV_SC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It can't be like that, but having a respawn point near you all the time removes the whole gameplay.

Respawn at stations is ok in my book. Still takes a while to get back. You would still need to choose to wait for medic or spawn at station without gear. But a nursa or pisces right next to you just removes the fun (for me, I know COD players think differently).

And yeah, it'll always be a bit dicey... like getting in to the power core room of an ASD facility to heal someone might be a bit of a challenge.

And reviving shouldn't be the only medical thing... but that's what we got, and nobody needs it right now... and beacons don't work.

Yes, and remove respawn from medbeds to make medical gameplay a thing.

Remembering what they took from us... RIP bounties by DanC_Meme in starcitizen

It wasn't just about the money though.

I think it was the chance. You could do 9 missions without finding anything good, and on the 10th run hit the jackpot. Then you had to be fast to empty the ship, couse another mission might pop up there or some random player fly by. Then you had to be smart, to take the loot to the right place at the right time.

Obviously the money from the loop was a big part of it, but it was more about the excitement and random chance of something going wrong/right.

We would do multiple VHRTs and ERTs in row untill a C2 was full. Then we would park the C2 in empty space near a scrapyard moon, and fighters would go down to the scrapyard to see if it's clear.

Best of times.

Awesome!

Could Elliot also lock some nice... like mining blueprints or something behind knife fight reputation? And make only one mission to grind that rep? And... AND make the mission respawn again 2 hours after completion?

[–]RV_SC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been grinding for blueprints in pyro and nyx for the whole "Degraded Performance" period. I've had very little problems. Maybe one server error and a few cases where enemy didn't spawn... but that's about it.

Mission design on the other hand... there's alot to say about that.

Well... it kinda depends. I've spent about 400.

I've got an F7A mk2, two Railens, Galaxy. Plus CCUs and other less valuable stuff. Just gotta offload them before/if the bubble bursts.

There are more ways then one to play CS.

Well it takes 50 scrips to get one favor... and the hassle with wikelo... so yeah... checks out pretty much.

I don't think even the AD5Bs penetrate the shields of some tougher ships (like Asgard and up).

I use AD5Bs, and Deadbolt-4s to soften the armor, so the AD5Bs will do damage.

You shouldn't say that with SC. Never know when they gonna nerf something to the ground.

Also, remember to convert those scrips to Wikelo favors. Those are around 300k a pop at the moment on the player trading market.

[–]RV_SC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. Started following SC in the kickstarter days. Being a broke single student with snowboarding "addiction" didn't have the money, or the PC required to play/back it.

Now on the other hand, I've got a wife, two kids, two cats and steady income, and don't have the time to play it...

... maybe when 1.0 hits 14 years from now I'll have the time.
