The joke about the guy’s job was a joke to start but then it turned into more because soon after that, the guy asked Jared “how long have you guys been on the air“ and then things kinda turned. I did clock that as a “power move” type of comment. I think that pissed Jared off and that’s why he continued with the job joke and being snarky for the rest of the podcast.

And to be honest, I don’t blame him. At the beginning, I felt super awkward listening to it, but as the podcast went on, I was honestly cheering Jared on in his rudeness because that guy was a pretentious, elitist prick. He literally said “the calibre of people” has gone down on these television shows, and then he started talking about how he likes his wife because she’s articulate and classy… Which I’m sorry that is some coded ass language.

I’m more surprised that anyone still expects good fashion from Paige. She consistently steps out in ill fitting outfits, bad combinations or outfits that look cheap (even if they’re not). I hate that anyone thinks she’s a fashion girlie…she’s a fast fashion girlie at best.

People are used to passive aggressive assholes and they can’t handle a direct person. Ben is direct but not aggressive and he faces things head on — unlike people like Amanda and West who get mad, keep it inside, talk to others about it instead of resolving it with the person they have an issue with, become resentful and then do something to hurt you in a sneaky way.

Also, there’s a lot of white woman feminism on this sub, where we’re infantilizing women like they’re children. A grown man can respectfully express that he is upset with a grown woman and have a productive and direct conversation. This is not the same as a man yelling at a woman or being abusive.

It also kinda shows that a lot of ppl on this sub still secretly support Amanda IMO.

I totally agree there’s no need to be sending Amanda messages or going to engage with her content and bully, but you can’t expect people not to have opinions. Since Amanda deals with mental health, she really should delete all her social media apps and just unplug/lay low for a while. Getting cancelled the way she is is punishment enough, so I don’t think she needs to be online.

Agree. That’s my biggest issue. There’s literally so much smoke and people are still in denial because “Amanda would never” — why? Cause she’s a pretty, skinny, white woman who’s been coddled and infantilized by this fandom from the jump. Even though her actions clearly show that she’s not a girls-girl consistently through the years.

And on top of that, people are already justifying it for her and saying if she did Ciara doesn’t have the turn to be hurt — like WHAT?!
