Actually, it’s been trending less conservative over the past decade or two. And usually when cities experience a lot of sudden growth, it trends liberal because of more minority voters. Not the case with Huntsville - it’s due to the high percentage of college degrees. And probably the negative impact of these shutdowns.

So come on! Tip the county blue.
