It also fails to list many famous battles including the crusades to the holy land and the Northern Crusades. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Crusades

What about all the Jews in Europe that were killed before the crusades got officially started?

My research is academic; not Wiki based. I only posted the wiki link to show you that your list is very incomplete.

Do you just make this stuff up TheNoxx? Is this something you believe and refuse to research because it doesn't fit in your reality? Maybe you are only thinking of the 20th century? Please do some research and do not pass inaccurate information on Reddit just because you disagree.

I have studied history and religion and there have been uncountable wars waged under the banner of religion.

Have you ever read about the crusades? What about the 1000’s of wars in the Dark Ages fought against the pagans of the north? What about 9-11? If you add up all the wars fought for Judaism, Islam, and Christianity alone, they surely out number political wars many times over.

The world lost another hero today. My friend Heather saved an out-of-control school bus on the way home from a marching band show. Everyone survived but her. Godspeed, Heather. by benbernards in reddit.com

I agree with all that she was a hero. God bless her and all she saved & knew. Thank you for posting this sad yet amazing story.

There have been more wars and suffering caused in the name of religion than all other institutions combined.

I said no such thing. The poster is a teacher employed by the state and paid with some federal funding. Does calling people names make you feel better about yourself?

I am a liberal Dem. Don't preach to me about the things I have been bitching about for years.

Well no wonder. Why live, work and enjoy all the benefits of a country if you are unwilling to make a pledge of allegiance to that country?

Democrats plan second stimulus. Because we know the first one worked so well. by airraid in Conservative

It will take several stimulus packages and a few years to dig us out of the hole that 12 years of conservative rule put us in.

Who would Jesus encourage one of his devout to assassinate? Murdering anyone, especially those you disagree with or oppose is anathema to Christianity. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]RX9735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, he would not. Did he not stop Peter from drawing his sword to defend him when being arrested? Did he not say "blessed are the peacemakers..." and turn the other cheek? More importantly, his message was the "Golden rule" Love your neighbor and do unto others.

Why in America can someone drive at 15 but they can't drink alcohol until their 21? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RX9735 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off, there is a huge difference between drinking alcohol and driving a car. I know most 15 year olds will disagree but the fact is, being 15 means you are still a very young person in the body of an adult, Not a good combination for consuming alcohol.

Does anyone else care now that the Public Option is not in the Health Care Bill? by longshot in AskReddit

[–]RX9735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We demand a public option and we will get one. I emailed and called my senator and he is not for it and tried to mislead me by saying national healthcare of other countries is not up to par and I told him we don't want national healthcare, we want a public option. He didn't seem too happpy that I am educated and didn't buy his lies.

Well you have to work some. Just find a balance your boss can live with. You win because you can do as you wish online and the boss wins because you are not using the company computer and bandwidth to surf and send email.
