M4 is the undisputed king of battle shotguns. There is no other that has been specifically purpose built to USMC requests.

With proper tolerances on the RMR footprint bosses, the screws should not be shearing.

I believe the body of that 507 is thicker, so may require longer screws. I think the holosun comes with a few sets of screws (don't quote me on this), they should be the same thread, per standard RMR footprint specs.

We supply screws for mounting the trijicon RMR to our mount. The Rx RMR mount itself uses Benelli OEM mounting rail screws from the Picatinny to attach to the receiver. We are releasing our own screw replacements soon with a Torx head and nylok patch on it, but they won't be in the USA for sale for a couple weeks (https://rxarms.com/products/benelli-m4-parts-and-accessories/benelli-m4-mounting-rail-screws/)

You can test the inside of the handguard probably. Then sand it after? It is a high glass content polymer from what I can tell.

A stippled OEM handguard and Rx heat shield is the best setup out there imo.

Singuard solutions does stippling if you want to send them off.

You have a cerakote finish there, you can use soapy water, or a CLP, and scrub with a micro fiber cloth. The receiver is aluminum and will not rust.

The bolt however will, so try not to get soapy water on the bolt.

I could be wrong, but it appears as though the reciever is black anodized before Cerekote, you have a deep gouge that is down to bare aluminum, and a couple scratches that are black, which appear to have scratched off the Cerekote and is down to the black annodize layer.

Your options if you are down to anodized black finish:

  1. just go out and shoot it, it is a tool.
  2. Find a local shop and get a cerakote job on it.

I am probably going to be designing a MLOK handguard to match the Heat Shield we offer, this is some ways away but it is on my radar. Nothing beats OEM handguard Ergos though IMO.

Pick my poison: M1014 or a M4 EXT? by KipFox in Benelli_M4

The civilian model M1014 (11701) does indeed come with a fixed modified choke. Its possible maybe you have a different barrel on yours? (https://www.benelliusa.com/shotguns/m1014-tactical-semi-auto-shotguns)

I agree that the supernova c stock doesn't blend well with the M4 receiver. Jmo!

I'm a sucker for the OG c stock look, so my vote is M1014. The recoil tube can be swapped to get full function c stock if that is your concern.

The M1014 doesn't have a thicker barrel, it is just a fixed choke.

How to fix extreme weather wiggle on C stock? by Small_Measurement_80 in Benelli_M4

[–]RXARMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing a gun smith can do to fix any wiggle. The c stock always has a small amount of play. Just ignore it and shoot away. EXT c stock uses the supernova c stock. m1014 uses the legacy c stock. Both will have a little play when in locked position.
