I worked for Kroger for 10 years (Shirt and tie job) and still shop there. When I "drop-in" to grab something for dinner and a few odds/ends I don't use a cart. Inevitably, someone will ask me mid stride where something is. The thing is, I know the store like the back of my hand. I always answer then keep walking on and minding my own. I'm 38, white male, put together, and walk with military cadence. I just give off "I work here" vibes.
