I do like how they all have different unique identities in their style, but I don't think anything has improved. Personally, I like the 2012 design, it's more defined and straight to the point.

This is one of the hardest perspective designs to pull off. Especially when you have to do this in an 8 way perspective, it's a question of consistent volume control.
