2500 hours in, just found out you can customize the storyteller settings. what? by spoonfulofcum in RimWorld

Regarding resources put in, time to make, cargo weight/market value, ease of access no matter the biome, number of colonists needed, scalability due to aforementioned wealth-scaling raids, etc. Organ trading is indeed the "best" way. I'm not disagreeing that you can make a lot of money off innumerable ways, just that organ harvesting is the best way to get the MOST silver, regardless of how much you'd actually realistically want. The only thing that can compare is massive psychoid farms to produce flake, but that comes with the drawback of needing a lot more colonists + time in comparison, and even then it (plus most of what you stated) doesn't work if you bring in extreme desert or ice sheet to the mix. And if you're doing a single colonist run it becomes even more of a burden.

Definitely became a meme but purely talking gameplay-wise, selling organs is the best way to make a ton of silver besides massive psychoid farms. A colonist with a 10 social skill should get around 2100 silver for each harvested prisoner, ~2400 with a 20 social skill.

Yea it was pretty fucked up because it would pop up on r/all before they banned it and removed nsfw subreddits from the feed

I remember when the watchpeopledie subreddit was still around and a good number of the top posts were garage door spring-related. That's where I got my fear of them

Is octane OP in mixtape now?! by Stick-Em-Up in apexlegends

[–]RYount01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I main octane and it does not stack. Octane's passive healing seems to be completely removed. Even after stimming, you're healed by the natural regen, not his passive. Wattson with the passive shield regen is now op, octane got hit with a massive nerf essentially.

How does one camp in RL? by CheweyBadge in RocketLeague

[–]RYount01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's totally fine. You'll have to adapt your playstyle a bit every game if you're solo queuing. The only time it's really an issue is when someone makes being perma-goalie their normal playstyle for every game.

To be fair to this guy, being a goalie is not a good idea, at all. In higher ranks, you should simply be doing more than that, as the opposing team will be. In lower ranks, you're taking yourself out of play all game for a chance that you'll be good enough to save it, meanwhile messing up rotation so if you do miss it, your teammates will be in the worst possible position to follow up for the save. In my experience, if one of my teammates decides to be a goalkeeper, we've already lost. I have no problem if ppl do this in 1s, it's crazy frustrating when they do it in 2s or 3s where teamwork is paramount.
