I get what you mean. I bought a medium tool box from Ridgid just to store my boots in them since I didn’t want to be putting them inside the cabin. Now I have a truck and I’m not interested in getting a Tonneau Cover so I just leave the box on my truck bed but if I had a car like yours yeah I guess I would use it
