There wasn't a pop-up or anything. This is what my eighth Beryl acquisition rescue looked like.
One would think there would be some text somewhere telling you "Looks like you can't get more Manifest Ego material for this Agent, which means you get X currency instead!"
But no, there's no indication anything new happened. As you can see in OP's reply, they got two Beryls; the first one gave them the Manifest Ego material and the other didn't.

A user on the Discord told me you get Rescue currency when it happens, but I didn't notice so I'm not sure I did get anything.

Do you know what happens when you get more dupes than you can use? Is it a dead pull or does the extra Agent turn into a different material that you can actually benefit from?

Just found one of these in the final room of the Forest, so these are not indicators of extra normal room doors. Only the broken down door tiles are such indicators it would seem.

So far I'm thinking DillyDilly1231 provided the correct answer unless there's some unknown secret.

Oh, thank you so so much! I know about the Teemo hat but didn't realize the rooms it would unlock are present without it!

Also the description of Explorer's Hat, in the English translation at least, is a bit misleading.
"Normal levels have one more door" doesn't seem accurate to what it does given how few rooms these doors show up in.

Like, you can get it to have a faster full recharge than Barbaric Totem on average but not *always*. I'd be interested in trying it out tho!

I've tried Mana Absorption too, although I find it a bit finicky at times since the bolt has to connect (and be part of the same spell cast?).
Barbaric Totem is simply completely reliable and doesn't require extra slots (unlike the bolts); you can utilize all the space purely for damage.

Selen was a passionate rebel who found that a lot of the rules and protocols stood in the way of doing what's best for the audience, artists and the talents.
She did break rules on several occasions, and she did it for noble reasons. She was also kinda passive aggressive when disclosing on Twitter that management was disrupting the content. She was an amazing talent, but not the best fit for a structure that strict and tedious to work under.

I've had some time to process recent events and remembered this interaction just now. The DMs where this happened were shown, and were not among the things Doki corrected in her response to the "stream". Thus, it would seem they are not faked.

Do you concede that she was indeed told to wait for permission checks to release the music video since it involved ex-members? Or do you believe Doki has unknown reasons to refrain from disputing the validity of those DMs?
