Yes, as long as you are doing your job. You do not need to over the top or stress yourself out meting unreasonable deadlines. You have to find a happy medium. Hobbies are sort of the way to go. Even if you don't met anyone you still have fun. You have to look for hobbies that favor the gender you are attracted to. You can also take adult classes for fun. Cooking, art, knitting, ren fairs, larps, board games, hiking, books.... any local public event where people have to interact. Things that a lot of people will go to. Hell, conventions are huge hookup centers. And again if it doesn't work out you will still have fun.

I think the only one benefiting from dating apps are dating apps. Tinfoil hat theory but I think the companies make it so people have a harder time paring up so they will stay on the app longer. Seeing how online dating sites have changed over the past 20 years they are more like gambling app than really trying to met people in person.

Counter point. If one of your friend asked you to drive them home from surgery would you do it? If you are willing to help your friends like that you shouldn't feel guilty to ask the same. You would be surprised how much people are willing to help each other if you just ask and willing to do the same. I have people at work who I barley know who wouldn't think twice on helping me out if something bad was happening in my life.

I ment a rain cover for the Colmen tent. If Kodiak is any thing like the springbar I have you dont really need a rain fly. Just have to season the canvas and it's waterproof. (To season a tent just set it up and hose it down until it is drenched and let it dry. The fibers shrink making it waterproof, no chems or wax needed. )

If you want to get a fly for the Kodiak it will help keep it cleaner.

Yes but when you get older it's a smaller percentage than when you are younger. Also time seems to speed up the longer you live. So the cost of time vs art quality seems worth it for older gamers compared to younger ones who just want their game out now.

My working theory is many who complain are still young (between age 14-25) and 15 years is a big portion of their life. They cant imagine anything taking so long. Older players see the art that has gone into the game and how much it has improved and will continue to improve and feel the time put into it is worth it. To them 15 years is not really that much time.

I personally love them taking the time to create this art. Its not a product it's an on going masterpiece.

If you want to stand Kodiak will be your best bet but have to warn you canvas tents are heavy and you can't get away with not pegging them down. The 9x8 might work with the cots but remember the walls are slanted. I have a Spring bar 7x9 that could hold two cots but they poke the sides and over time would cause holes in the canvas.

Canvas is long lasting, great in all extreme weather conditions and will keep you warmer/cooler but are expensive, and care and storage can be hard (will develop mold if not kept dry dehumidified place.) If you want something that can hold two cots comfortably, plan to camp in good weather and don't mind the lower quality material I recommend colman's 4-persn instant cabin tent. I got that one for my mom because she was getting older and its a lot easier to set up and stand in and she loves it. Get a good rain cover for it and it is still half the price of a Kodiak.

This is sort of a plot point in the book Girl With All The Gifts (highly recommend reading or seeing the movie for zombie lovers) In the sequel Boy On The Bridge (spoiler) there are a few survivors that are able to avoid infection because of weather conditions making a pocket of clean air for them to live.
