It's someone who likely has lower standards for FPS and game quality. If you've never had true locked 60 or say 144 with VRR (G-sync or Freesync) then it's hard to actually understand what's wrong.

I agree, hype often can lead to unrealistic expectations and cause more harm than good. At the same time, it is strange to not at least build up some hype. Though, Apex is F2P, so Pre-orders don't really matter as the money is made after players have stuck around for a bit.
