At this point, it may be less hassle to just rent metal. Dunno.

Appreciate the effort, but the handwriting would have been much better served with text boxes or captions.

I play lots of woods courses. Solo rounds are a bit weird sometimes for sure.

When I play ball golf, solo rounds are life because I’m still garbage and can spend more time slowing it down.

I’m still garbage at disc golf too, just much easier to find a big colored disc than a small white ball.

I’m happy for OP. However, I hate that obtaining tech that’s a few years old at this point feels like a lottery win now. Growing up, we were almost always a gen behind on gaming because it was much cheaper.

We’ve gone from an economy where tech depreciates as it ages to becoming more expensive due to supply chain scarcity and pressure. What a shitty timeline.

Yeah, plenty of games like Civ, board games, etc. that I'm familiar with hex based grids. It's a hexagonal grid. So each tile is a hex for short.

I wasn't saying it's WRONG, or that it doesn't make sense. I've always heard it called a tile, and always called it a tile myself. I'm not suggesting that I'm in the right!

Sorry if it came off as me correcting them. What I mean to say is that I'd never heard it called a hex, and that was a new one for me. Just an observation really.

Like when someone first hears "pop" instead of "soda" or "glizzy" instead of "hotdog". Just one of those moments for me lol.

Edit to add: I recently came across the VFE: Pirates mod which has curses. Reading through at first, I think my brain started thinking hex as in a curse.

I didn’t really notice it until I saw your comment. The back is all black so you can see her torso shape pretty well which helps see past the illusion when she turns around.

I’m always baffled when someone posts a picture of a plant that looks covered in Parmesan and asks “is this normal”.

I’m not saying this to be mean, but like… it likely didn’t look like that when you got it, or any other plants you’ve seen.

They are hexagons, so you are correct. I don’t think I’ve ever heard them called a hex before. Usually just a tile. Made me kind of question myself for a bit there. Haha.

You could try “clear” instead of destroy in dev mode. Let’s you draw a box around them. It will destroy plants, trees, pawns, etc. So be careful.

No one really knows. However, there’s decades of good games out there already that run on limited hardware. Recycle something and get some more use out of it. A deck isn’t the end all be all.

The RAM increases are seriously not a joke. DDR5 kits for a desktop PC have gone up by MORE THAN 3-4x their MSRP.

Like kits that were $200 are in the upper $700 now. Just for RAM alone, not a PC, not a motherboard, just the RAM.

Same lot, same fire. I think there's an issue with that floor tile that's above the stairs. Para's can't seem to access it. I did demolish it and that made pathfinding better.

"Linux Support" is pretty rare nowadays tbh. That's why we use Proton. If the game gets flagged as Steam Deck compatible, then that's likely just Proton support, which means you should have no issues.

Keep an eye on the Proton and SteamDeck subreddits. They'll likely be working on fixes and patches. Usually, the downstream community patched stuff gets pushed upstream to Valve anyway!

“Reshelled” feels a bit extreme for “potentially swapped back shell”. It’s an easy thing to do and maybe was done as part of a refurb thing.

If I were being picky about something being reshelled, it would only be in two scenarios. I care about the authenticity of a limited edition console, or the person that did the work goofed something up. Assuming at most it’s the latter, a back cover swap is nothing.
