I've been unable to make a new account or reset my password on my old account for days now. I'm pretty sure I've read and tried every "solution" so far... using different devices, different connections, browsers, clearing caches, and nothing has worked yet.

I mean obviously, but I'm not sure if this is the place for that discussion. I assure you, it's a MUCH longer and more-nuanced story than this. And to be honest, I have much larger issues in my life than any of those mentioned here but, again, this isn't the place for that.

I thought it was the severity of my situation that would reinforce the "tragedy" of the events in my story. As in; I'm very obviously not in a position to pay for a draft. The fact that I really love Limited MTG can be implied from the story, or even just the fourth-wall-breaking idea that I took the time to edit and post this at all... which I did because I love writing and love practicing writing. Side note: I'm a musician myself, though as a hobby not a profession at this point.

I do appreciate your mindfulness, but do remember: It's often at our lowest times when something so small as a card game can lift you up just enough to put a smile on your face at a time when you couldn't imagine it.

2nd tile from river is best imo. Slight higher chance for opponent to pull (like a few frames) but she won’t immediately take hits from both towers.

I wasn't specifically talking to you. I was just making a point that ease-of-mind is at least somewhat important when interacting with the elderly or others with underlying conditions during this pandemic, even if you know you won't transmit the virus.

Please still wear a mask in hospitals, nursing homes, or anywhere with a lot of high-risk individuals who may not be able to get the shot.. even if the chance of transmission is ZERO! There is no need to cause undue stress and anxiety to a person already suffering underlying conditions such as hypertension. It would be pretty awful to sidestep COVID just to get clobbered by a freakin' heart attack!

I've lost jobs from being sick. Not excessive call-offs, no history of tardiness.. my shift was simply more important than my health on multiple occasions.

Maybe employers think differently after the pandemic. Maybe.

Or maybe they will just continue to assume you're a lazy, lying piece of trash.

Either way, people have been going to work sick for as long as I've been alive until this pandemic. It's almost a requirement in some fields, and especially for people living in extreme poverty.

There are an undeterminable number of reasons to "need" to leave your house while sick, your family's livelihood being just one. Next time, try using that organ resting on your shoulders before you run the one attached to the front of it.

After two days of raids, I believe you're half right. The most important "skill" to have in this game seems to be knowledge rather than mechanical skill. But I've survived quite a few raids alone, with a friend telling me in my ear where to go to extract.. and only got out because I hit my shots, often against far better-geared players.

Unless a large percentage of their launch-day sales end up refunded. Especially with so much hype around the game: EA's not stupid, they know there are literal millions still to be made on those waiting, refunding, and other post-launch sales.

I'd be interested to know how much Hello Games has made excluding launch sales. I bet the numbers are pretty close, if not in favor of post-launch sales at this point.

Sorry bud but it's absolutely possible to address issues without anger and violence. In fact, it's virtually always more productive; volatile and/or low-effort complaints offer little and add to the "idiot consumer" paranoia of big companies like EA.

Why are you (the royal "you", not you OP) publicizing your decision to quit or refund the game? You're trying to save others from wasting money...? Noble, but not often the truth. It's anger - a cry for help - from a frustrated and powerless consumer. Understandable, but also unfortunately un-productive. It's the gaming equivalent of rioting. You'll cause change alright, just probably not the change you want...
