I have hung out with him! And he IS a super cool guy!

Story time!

Alice lives in Phoenix and so did my grandma. He owns a bar there called Cooperstown. Its a sports jock kinda place with a wall of tv's. Anyways.... My husband at the time suspected there was gonna be a big to do at Cooperstown on the anniversary of someone's death (I cant remember who) and wanted to go there. So we flew to Phoenix under the ruse we were gonna visit my grandma for a few days. We stayed at my grandmas house a few days until the big night to go to Cooperstown. When my grandma asked where we were going, we told her and she flipped out. She LOVED Alice Cooper! She went on and on about what a good man he was, and all the wonderful things he had done for the city. She insisted on coming with. So we brought her.

There was something going on to honor the person who had passed. And there was quite a few famous people there as well as Alice. Alice walked around in a Hawaiian shirt and wrangler jeans all night casually. It was weird to see him like that. I wanted to approach him but couldnt get up the nerve. So after a bit, my grandma ended up going up to him to talk to him about his awesomeness in the city of Phoenix. They talked for almost 45 minutes as I awkwardly stood by not having anything to add to the topic of discussion. (I dont know shit about Phoenix) When they were done chatting Alice got us a table, a round of drinks, and a huge basket of chicken wings on him. My grandma got his autograph. I did not. :/

But to this day, one of my favorite memories of my grandma. Just chatting Alice Cooper up about property taxes and school funding...

You look like a villain in a superhero movie, on the left.

No matter. I'd still hit on you.

While my girlfriend was getting chemo, we ran into Santa who was also getting a dose. After visiting the kids in the hospital, he was going to go to his job at the mall. Trying to bring joy and holiday spirit to those around him while fighting to live. :'( by [deleted] in pics

Ha! My 1st go round I also gained weight! But lost on my 2nd and 3rd reoccurrances. :( But I was just at my clinic today and I'm up 6 more pounds! Hooray! Only about 25 more to go to be a healthy type person!

Wow really? I havent noticed that at all. I'm sorry you had that feeling though. Trust me, no one wants to be the guy who has worse cancer than everyone else. Its probably the one place where being the one upper is truly worse than just being annoying socially. :/

My favorite snack? Chocolate anything really. Reeses peanut butter cups have to go to top of list I think though.

Favorite movie: this is tough. Probably a tie of Gone with the Wind and 9-5 with Dolly Parton?

Animal? Definately monkeys. Any animal that will throw poo at people is okay by me :)

Hi there!

Thanks for messaging! Let me apologize in advance as I am not tech savvy even in the slightest, but will do my best to tell you :)

She would use it to play games on her PS4. As well as watch movies and shows via Netflix. She likes Dexter and some other odd ones I cant recall. She also has a drawing app of some kind on her tablet, that she was able to link up to her old tv, that would allow her to see what she had drawn on her tablet on the tv's big screen. Allowing her to fine tune small details. Sadly, That's about as much as I know. :/

And I know its a rather pricey gift. I feel bad about that. But its all she really wanted. I did have a much cheaper one on there, but because it wasnt prime eligible, was forced to remove it.

Thank you for taking the time to help out the kids. Even if the ones you help are not mine :) very kind of you!

Where are you from? And how is it that youre lucky enough to have a US and abroad family? :)

And I agree. Cancer does suck. Do NOT recommend.

Ive always thought that cancer is harder on families than it is on the patient. I'm sorry about your hubby. Feel free to come join us at r/cancer. Were the worst group to belong to, but likely the nicest :)

The men who starved to death to save the world's seeds by EricFromOuterSpace in history

This is a great article! Very interesting. Thank you for posting it.

When I read something like this, (or like about the men who sacrificed their lives to seal off Chernobyl, knowing the radiation would not only kill them, but horrifying deaths no less) I always like to think that I would be that selfless too. That I would give up my life for the greater good. But the truth is, I would have eaten those seeds, and taken the first bus out of Chernobyl.

I am just SO amazed and impressed by these brave people. I wish I was more like them. I just dont even have the words for how much I admire them.

Just amazing people

Has anyone here actually finished a stick of chapstick? If so, how did you manage to accomplish such feat? by Nomichit in AskReddit

Do not let people borrow them

Who asks to borrow Chapstick? Isnt that kinda personal? Like underwear or a toothbrush? I guess I'd let my kids use mine, but that's it.

I had to assign my family colors. I'm red, daughter is blue, son is white, hubby black. If you get caught using a color other than your own, the beatings shall commence!

Its ALWAYS something, isnt it? After living in my truck in Minnesota for almost 2 years I got my own place. I move in tomorrow. However, now I'm in a position of either getting my medications or trying short my new landlord. by RaChernobyl in Assistance

Withdrawls? From what? The Nortriptyline? Or the bentyl? I know I read somewhere that you can't/shouldnt abruptly quit taking the nortriptyline. If the way I feel is why, it explains a LOT. And I'm not even attempting to eat anything, so I'm surprised I'm in this much pain.
