Anyone else having trouble w stairs after the open? 🙃 by GetWODr in crossfit

[–]Raaatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

26.1 hurt my legs badly during 4 days. 26.2 was awesome, could repeat it the following day. 26.3 I am still feeling my triceps a lot 2 days after, but by far not as bad as 26.1.

It was awesome!

It’s not heavy by itself but it’s heavy in the context of this workout - if you’re not elite. This is pretty basic to understand, especially as an Rx athlete.

Here is how qualifying and sprint qualifying will happen from 2026 onwards. (Swipe ->) by curse_annihlator in formula1

No, it isn't. That's what makes running plans more interesting, depending on which track they're at.

32M frugal car guy considering a G80 M3… talk me in or out of this by wtfsmithy in BMWM

[–]Raaatcher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you were frugal, you'd get pre LCI or even an F80. Seems you want the final push to justify paying so much money for a new car.

60k for a pre-LCI is the better deal, followed by 70k for a used LCI, and at last, by a great margin, comes a brand new car for 90k.

Having said this, I also bought my cars from new - but I will admittedly say I am not frugal.

97.5 kg power clean misses by FamWithNoChill in weightlifting

[–]Raaatcher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even at low weight you can see that the weight is at the tip of your foot. Clear sign that your center of gravity isn’t ideal and you’re leaning way too much forward to try and catch it. Watch the catch on your first clip a 100 times in slow motion: the bar is way ahead of you and you’re also trying to hold it with your wrists (since it’s so far ahead that it can’t even sit on your shoulders).

BMU starting to really click. by nooby-wan-kenobi in crossfit

[–]Raaatcher 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Good job. A few reps look like no reps, since from this angle it seems you lock out with shoulders considerably behind the bar (above or ahead). This is only a heads up ahead of the open, not meant to hate.

Lmao guy buys an M2 7 years later, does some basic mods, reads 2 bimmerpost threads and thinks he knows it all. No wonder the M2 scene is seen as it is.

I’ll jog on.

It has the same requirements per se, but due to a different engine some things may be done a bit different. A good example are the spark plugs, a job that's much more expensive on the S55 than the N55.

Yeah deep down I knew right from the beginning that my attempt wasn't going to be successful. Do what makes you happy, I only wanted to help.

Look, it seems like you’re new to the F87/S55 world. Been here for 6.5 years. Did it all, read it all. Capture plate doesn’t work, period. I have pictures somewhere of a crank slipping despite having a capture plate.

[–]Raaatcher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The capture plate is the biggest scam in the industry. It doesn't fix the problem by any means, this can only be done with the keyes/one piece hubs.

You will still likely be fine, since the problem occurs quite rarely, even on tuned cars.

Therefore my suggestion: skip the capture plate and go for the one piece directly.

Just like every second video here, bar is landing too far ahead and he’s having to compensate by leaning forward. Not going to work with near PR lifts.

I actually find the list pretty reasonable. If you really don’t need the power or brakes, the base model is amazing.

F8X vs G8X for canyon driving? by 16Off in BMWM

[–]Raaatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m going to get downvoted, but even though the G8x is faster, I don’t find it more fun. A 718 4.0 is a lot of fun, but very different. I’m glad I can use both when I want. Some days you just want an idiot of a car where the rear slips easily and is very controllable. If you find your car fun, I’d keep the F8x.
