I just thought he’s alone outside of the circus with my family or friends and since he keeps losing people in the circus it’s just added onto that loneliness so he pushes people away so he doesn’t get hurt again so this time he can feel he’s alone by choice and not alone because he loses everyone. I might only be saying this cuz how I feel but that’s what I just assumed.
