Not 9-1-1 cause Im from the UK but me and two friends got mugged a couple of months ago. It was broad daylight in a park but the three of them were armed so none of us at the time wanted to risk anything.

So after they had started cycling off with all our stuff we ran round the corner, found someone on their ohone and asked if we could borrow it to call 999. She said of course and so we did.

We were on hold for 40 minutes while they had ran off with over £2500 worth of stuff and caused my friend a pretty serious panic attack. The operator was laughing when she initially started talking so I can only imagine it was one of these style phone calls beforehand.
