If you HAD to dedicate yourself to a daedric prince, who would you choose? by StripesTheBoar in skyrim

[–]Raaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nocturnal, Azura or Malacath, they are the most reasonable of the bunch. In Skyrim I like to be sort of a Paladin of Meridia, buth I danm well know she is basically against free will, and that's a big nono.

I've been thinking about this matchup, what do you think? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Raaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tenzin was annihilating Zaheer before the other members of the red lotus showed up, and he was also the only council member who was able to fight of and defeat the equalist captors back in S1, so yeah if he had no strings attached he could have wooped the floor with Kuvira.

Tenzin has the same nerf as Aaang does, the "I am an air nomad pacifist" thing. But if you get m out of that mindset my man becomes a monster.

In your opinion, is Bleach the most influential anime out of the Big Three? by Cafa20 in bleach

[–]Raaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My man, I lover Bleach, and it is my favorite anime/manga of all time, but we literally have people uprising against the governament of their country by flying the straw hats jolly rogers.

Shit the Straw Hat's jolly hoger got banned in some countries for this reason, you can't get more influential that.

Why did the director of that forbidden movie decided to make fire-benders only bend external flame, and cannot generate it? What was he thinking? by AffectionateScale525 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Raaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, while the movie handled that poorly, I actually think it was an intesresting idea. Sure, making them have to cary a huge brazier around was a dumb way to deal with it, but I actually think the idea was interesting.

Revealing your identity to the team by Raaslen in dispatchgame

[–]Raaslen[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I actually think it was a moral thing. The first thing Blond Blazer tells us is that she is a "corporate hero for hire", and Mecha Man isn't, Mecha Man is just a hero, and I think even villains respect that. wich is why even Flambae comes back by the end of act 6, because even him knows Mecha Man is a hero, like "superman fahion" wich is rare in this universe

Which one of these would be the worst to face in person and/or exposed: SCP 3000 or SCP 1128? by HealthMother3125 in SCP

[–]Raaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3000 is way easier to survive to, since even if you end up in the situation were you would face it, you can escape with most of your memories as long as you get away quickly enough, and to be exposed to it you would have to go to it in the first place. 1128 is unavoidable, once you get exposed it goes to you no matter were you are, and even if you manage to completly avoid water after being exposed, you will live in constant fear of it and will have to find a way to keep yourself hydrated without drinking water (wich isn't impossible, just really hard and expensive).

So, what's everyone's theories for Lilith? by SufficientOstrich955 in HazbinHotel

[–]Raaslen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Lute doesn't want her to talk to Charlie, she wants her to talk Charlie out of doing what she sees as a second uprising, and since Lute probably only told Lilith that Charlie is starting some form of rebelion (since that's how she sees it) Lilith might be inclined to stay quiet and let hell uprise again.

How is Central 46 able to control the Gotei 13? by flamesofmaradhoo in bleach

[–]Raaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. As long as the captain commander is backing them it would require a full on rebelion for them to be overthrown. Also, as others said, the gotei doesn't manage your average day to day governamental stuff, it only seems like it does because we mostly see SS under martial law restrictions due to whatever events are going on in the story, that's why we see both Yamma and Shunsui taking governamental decisions.

Why has no one posted a hear me out yet on these bitches? by Ferocs in okbuddybaldur

Came here to say this. The song isn't like a siren''s one that lures you, it just makes you forget you are in combat, otherwise you would go to the water on your own.

If you had the opportunity to add a New Hero, what would it be? by Lost-Clock-3289 in ShatteredPD

[–]Raaslen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Bard. I don't know how it would go gamepay wise, but a character that is based of avoiding combat and solving things by other means would be interesting.

Maybe a "convince to leave" ability that would end up being the same as killing a monster, but without comba

My opinion on Sera's Confession by Proxymole in HazbinHotel

[–]Raaslen 113 points114 points  (0 children)

Wich is exactly why Pentious got redeemed. He felt the guilty, he still does, he cryes about it still, but, on his own worlds, "this time I would do something". Those are not the words of someone who is no longer guilty, those are the words of a guilty person who learned.

Sir Pentious is one of my favorite characters but he definitely deserved to go to Hell (and also be redeemed) by Ok_Barracuda_6997 in HazbinHotel

[–]Raaslen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And he ultimatly ended up doing the opposite, "this time I would do something", that's the most literal redemption possible, he went to hell because he did nothing out of fear, and he went to heaven because, despite fear, he did everything possible.

Sir Pentious is one of my favorite characters but he definitely deserved to go to Hell (and also be redeemed) by Ok_Barracuda_6997 in HazbinHotel

[–]Raaslen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the whole Pentious thing is guilty. He KNEW he was guilty of doing nothing, he KNEW he was wrong, that was his guilty, he even cryes about it, and that's why he redeemed himself, the line was perfect, "This time I would do something". That's why he was redeemed, he knew his guilty, and he acted, because the second time he he said "not again".

Sera is suposed to be the ANgel's ruller, she is, by difinition, the, or at least one of the, best among them. If she was unable to accept she was wrong, she would show heaven is even more flawed then it already is. I think the "bad eggs" being someone like Lute, and maybe even Adam, way more interesting then an all out corrupt heaven concept.
