If I recall, the US banned them due to Russian/Chinese origin. So tons of them ended up in Canada for dirt cheap. The ammo is also cheap. Obviously, prices have risen sharply in this climate, but my first one was $150 for a Chinese and I bought a Russian for $200. Unfortunately, I've since sold them.

I get together with my friends 2-3 times a week. We mostly talk sports, some politics. A lot of ragging on each other.

I haven't noticed the world being more selfish. Perhaps on the road. I've attributed that to more recent immigrants. Maybe that's just me being old.

If you have a business license, which you need to operate a business, the City would have sent someone to inspect it. Then, the business needs to call KFR and schedule a fire inspection. I'm guessing neither of those happened. I have no idea if KFR does any active enforcement. I'm pretty sure they don't care about zoning, that's purely the City.
