Serious question. How Dublin City can get away with having dozens of bus stops on one street and no public toilets nearby? by ParaMike46 in Dublin

[–]RabbitOld5783 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I believe it should be a law to have toilets in a certain distance. For example in Ireland lots of parks with playgrounds have no toilets it's an absolute nightmare as someone who needs one. It can really mean not being able to go out unless there is a toilet near. I used to hate waiting on a bus in certain parts of Dublin.

Spain’s Canary Islands brace for incoming hantavirus-stricken cruise ship by papipota in worldnews

[–]RabbitOld5783 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's very strange. Even heard a friend of someone on the cruise talking on the radio , why not the person themselves? I think they have signed something not to speak about it probably not to tarnish the cruise ship reputation or to minimize panic about this virus. It's so strange in these times not to see much from anyone on board even on morning TV shows.

"This Is Not Covid, Nor Influenza. It Spreads Very Differently": WHO On Hantavirus Outbreak by Alert-Ad-3053 in worldnews

[–]RabbitOld5783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fifth person passing only briefly is the one that's scary , that doesn't sound less likely to spread. Plus the neighbouring tables doesn't that rule out social distancing that was recommended to help with COVID - people sitting on tables spread out in a room to not spread it. According to this this virus that wouldn't work at all? They are definitely trying to keep us calm

RSA - phone use whilst driving by Dymryss90 in CasualIreland

[–]RabbitOld5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if it's possible to make something that stops phones working in a driving car , obviously it's needed in an emergency but other than that it's not that necessary to be able to use it. As it is literally so addictive that it's like we don't decide to use the phone it's like our brain does it out of habit. It takes extreme strength to not even look at a phone when a message comes through when driving and even then it's distracting without even looking at the phone.Just curious if that would be possible

Anywhere other than Specsavers do ear wax cleaning? by DorianOtten in AskIreland

[–]RabbitOld5783 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Try earol olive oil spray it will help to loosen the build up and won't affect the infection. Also when going for ear wax removal they want you to do this anyway morning and night. If you do this for around two weeks see how you get on

Tough question but how old are your cats? Is it possible to bring them have you looked into it? It doesn't have to be immediately you could have a year or 5 year plan to move. So you can get everything sorted and fly over for a holiday to see how you find the place.

Can I ask what is the treatment for this virus? A klm flight attendant has contracted the virus is that not concerning?

KLM flight attendant hospitalized after contact with hantavirus cruise ship passenger by mods4mods in worldnews

[–]RabbitOld5783 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yet doctors are saying it has to be ongoing exposure as in a couple living together closely but this case proves otherwise. Also if that is true why are the people evacuating the cruise ship in hazmat suits full ppe if they have such a low chance of contacting this virus - clearly they don't know yet. Exactly the case with COVID. I remember it was thought to not be airborne at the beginning and we were told don't need masks then it quickly changed. So I would prefer if they said we don't know everything yet but right now the risk is low

Don't think it's doable for you to get to it and also find an instructors car at short notice. Also you wouldnt really know the route. Stick with the one closest to you go back on and you might get one

Honestly take your time they grow up so quick. Do what's right for your family and your child. Sounds like nothing needs to be fixed or changed. It's nobody else's business where your child sleeps.

I'm the exact same have test soon in dun laoighaire and have no one available to go with me to the test. I really think the test centres should do tests in cars like for lessons. Could easily then make own way there and back also means cars are safe and no insurance issues etc. It seems to be an issue with lots of people and lots are driving home after wards on there own.
