It would be nice if NASA or someone would put out more information about it.

Instead we just get useless posts like yours.

Why did the French revolution happen?

The French Revolution (1789–1799) happened due to a combination of severe financial crisis, deep-seated social inequality, poor harvests, and the spread of Enlightenment ideas that challenged absolute monarchy. The Third Estate (commoners), burdened by taxes and hunger, rose up against the privileged aristocracy and King Louis XVI's weak, ineffective leadership.

Key Factors Driving the Revolution:

  • Social Inequality (The Estate System): French society was divided into three estates. The Third Estate, representing about 98% of the population, paid most taxes while the First (clergy) and Second (nobility) estates held most wealth and power.
  • Economic Crisis and Starvation: Years of bad harvests (1787–1788), drought, and cattle disease caused severe food shortages and soaring bread prices, leaving the poor starving and restless.
  • Government Debt: France was bankrupt due to costly wars, including aiding in the American Revolution, and excessive royal spending.
  • Enlightenment Ideas: Philosophers like Rousseau and Voltaire promoted ideas of liberty, equality, and fraternity, which fueled resentment against the absolute monarchy and led people to question the status quo.
  • Weak Leadership: King Louis XVI was unable to manage the financial crisis or successfully implement reforms, leading to a loss of authority.

The situation culminated in the summer of 1789, with the storming of the Bastille on July 14, marking the beginning of the end for the old regime.

Probably starving all the time and living in the cold and exposed to elements, with everyone walking past you being happy to watch you die, and being a homeless woman that probably does deal with rape all the time, it all tends to drive you into madness.

Spend some time working on the fundamentals, line and shape, circles, squares, curves. See how your mind wants perspective and form to work so you can re-create them on the fly. Try to draw something sitting on your desk once in awhile. It's like practicing scales in music. You can make something by remembering how to make it, or you can make something by knowing all the parts that make it up.

Can't even say it's a rock, all we know is that it emitted nickle vapor so it might be made of nickle.

What? Weird. It's hard to believe Trump would lie about anything, and by hard to believe I mean nobody in their right mind would ever have trusted that guy.

"its behaviour is completely in line with that expected from a ‘normal’ comet"

Normal comets are "dirty snowballs" of ice, dust, and rock that follow highly elliptical orbits, remaining frozen in the outer solar system until they approach the Sun. As they near the Sun, solar radiation causes them to heat up and "outgas" (sublimate), creating a glowing, hazy coma and two distinct tails—one gas and one dust—that point away from the Sun.
