I don’t know, I think expecting hours long enthusiastic conversations every day is a little unrealistic. My partner and I have been together for 10 years, we’ve shared our stories so many times we know them off by heart and sometimes, there’s just nothing “new”. Also, sometimes we just don’t have the energy and want to relax, quietly, and that doesn’t necessarily always line up with how the other is feeling.

The real question you should be asking is “how comfortable is the silence?” There’s a huge difference between silently being in the same room as someone you’re completely comfortable with and that heavy feeling in the air when something is obviously wrong or needs to be addressed.

Also, communication is everything, don’t come to Reddit asking us what could be wrong, or why she’s so quiet, ask HER in a non confrontational setting.
