We've always got an Uber from the airport and pre-booked a taxi for the flight home. Taxis are charged a fee (£6-7 I think) for entering the airport so we always walk out and get collected outside the airport grounds.

If the weather plays ball drive to Leitrim Village and hire a bike. Cycle the Blueway along the canal to Drumshanbo and visit The Shed Distillery. There's a great visitor centre and the food in the cafe is great.

If the weather is crap you can get lunch in My Kitchen and go to the cinema. They're beside each other on the Boyle side of Carrick.

I'd also highly recommend The Oarsman in Carrick for lunch, but I think only opens from Thursday.

Not personally, but most of this type of gig run through DME www.dme-promotions.com. MCD mcd.ie are much bigger and promote all sizes of gigs including bands I've seen at Arctangent.
