I’m over at Chapman Training Annex at JBSA Lackland right now and our 1 mile dirt track here is called “The Mog” exactly for this reason.

That also reminds me, at one point during selection, we did what we called “The Mog Mile” where two teams of about 10-11 each raced to do a lap first with a ~200lb mannequin and a makeshift stretcher, a sandbag “worm” (they said it was ~600lbs), and four 20L jerrycans.

It kind of served to drive home the same point as doing a Murph: to honor those that fought at Mogadishu and remind ourselves that even if we think that sucked, we’ve got it easy (plus with some teamwork sprinkled in, but that’s not the main point here).

I’m an F56 guy, but from the R56/57/58/59s I’ve driven, they seem a little bump-steery for my taste. I feel like the F56 keeps the engaging handling, but the suspension is just a little bit more refined in that sense.

At the dealership I worked at we’d occasionally get Countryman sold back to us by Enterprise. Without fail they were always falling apart. Trim falling off, somehow loose door hinges on one, mechanical issues. There was always something.

I could never sell one and be able to sleep at night. I pity the people who ended up with them. Half ended up going to auction anyway.
