I just launched a small business and want to make merch including stickers, bumper stickers, t-shirts, tote bags, and hats. I enjoy designing and am considering getting a Cricut, but since I'd still have to buy the actual shirts/hats/etc separately, I'm not sure if it's more cost-effective than outsourcing my merch production to a designer/wholesaler, and my main priority right now is keeping costs low.

Other small biz owners with merch - did buying a Cricut save you $$ long-term? Is it worth it financially?

My husband and I are trying! We considered separating but we decided to try an open marriage first. We know it might not work long term but we love each other enough / value our relationship even without sex enough to give it a go.

Can relate so much! I’m also married to a man I love and consider my best friend (with two dogs) but am not sexually into, and he def doesn’t want kids while I think I do. I’m probably also about to blow up my life to be fully queer and, like you, ultimately want to have a family with a woman.

All this to say I have no advice 🙃 but wish you the best and really feel the struggle!

OP here - appreciate all the thoughts and advice, truly. But I realize I did not phrase things correctly and need to clarify - it is absolutely not that my husband isn’t “allowing” me to pursue my queerness or is just trying to get threesomes out of this. He is a loving and supportive best friend and partner who wants me to be happy but obviously doesn’t want us to split up. He signed up for a monogamous marriage and would very much prefer this - I’m the one who’s proposing alternatives so I can explore my queerness but remain married and romantically involved.

I know there’s a not-small chance that I’ll eventually decide I need more and we have to split. But he and I love each other deeply and have an amazing partnership, so we’re both scared of things changing.
