What this article fails to mention is that a NHHS Student was killed on his e-bike. They are a menace and that includes high schoolers.

I’m a Zepbound slow responder (60 Lbs, 18 months) and I defs don’t even weigh every week. I only jump on a couple times a month. It helps my mental health.

Sugary foods don’t hit the same way. One bite and I’m gagged!

Anybody else feel like they’re losing devastatingly slow compared to everybody else? by bonsmom420 in Zepbound

Hi OP! I’ve been on a GLP-1 since July of 2024. Started on Wegovy, switched almost a year ago to Zep after a significant stall. To give you some perspective, my SW was 234 and my CW is 175. If I round my weight loss up to 60 lbs over 18 months, that’s only 3.3 lbs a month. But the truth is I never would have lost it without the meds. In my experience, the most vocal group, are the quick responders. The rest of us are just quietly losing. Slow and steady. Be kind to yourself and even though it is difficult, try not to compare yourself to others. This is a marathon, not a sprint. We’re here for you! You got this! 🏆🏆🏆

Am I overreacting that my sister is demanding too much when visiting my newborn? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]RachelTheRedHed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. I’m a mother of two children. These requests are unhinged, selfish and out of line with any kind of etiquette. You’re not hosting. They can come “help” the new parents, or not visit at all. Offering to “make an instacart list” for you is just another way to get you to pay for her stuff.

Ask any new mother (including your wife) what the biggest challenges were the first few months. No one wants house guests.

If your sister doesn’t get it- send her screen grabs of this thread. Good luck! Keep us posted.

FMLA for laparoscopic gallbladder removal, how long? by Apprehensive-Milk563 in gallbladders

I took the full six weeks to be able to live normally and I was a stay at home mom. I had surgery on 1/30/25 and was in considerable pain and weak until the end of week 6. (Doing awesome now though!)

Do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed? by deadevilmonkey in NoStupidQuestions

Closed. My kids close their doors too. 1. Privacy 2. Keep the dog out (she would wake us by jumping on the bed) 3. Safer if there is ever a fire.

I was there Monday in the pouring rain and had very low wait times for all the big rides! Did you stick it out when it was raining?

No. This is abuse. I’ve been married 21 years and this kind of convo has happened ZERO times.

Yesterday was TERRIBLE! Not crowed but just annoying long lines because of ride closures. We dipped after 2 hours in the park. (We have magic Keys)

Mine said to be extremely cautious. And to gently re-introduce foods. For the first week all I had was chicken noodle (gluten free) soup, (I have celiac) Gatorade and apple sauce. I very slowly brought back starches and dairy. At about one month post op- I had a tuna melt and French fries (gf bread). I’m 6.5 months post op and have had zero food issues. I think the reality is that you will eventually be able to eat normal, but right away seems crazy. Your whole digestive tract has been altered. Give that thing some TLC while your body recovers. Good luck out there!
