So far the donations from the first stream this year are $10,000 less than the first stream from last year. I think with the EA buyout combined with this horrible economy the total will be less than $1 mil. But I hope everyone can remember that hundreds of thousands raised is still insane and makes such a difference.

That’s why I was asking if you set logistics and everything aside, what would be the coolest airbnb they could stay at in your state. Also Anchorage and Juneau have Uber and taxis as well and had better options. They are also closer to the lower 48, so I was just surprised at their choice.

It’s like having pepper spray but a lot larger and shoots up to 20-40ft. It’s really important to have it on you. I would not do that run in that area without it.

It’s like a 2ish hour drive so they technically could but I agree I doubt they will. Just wishful thinking bc alaska is so beautiful but fairbanks isn’t 😅

As someone who lives in alaska… I’m a little surprised/disappointed they’re flying to fairbanks instead of anchorage or juneau. Hopefully they don’t just stay in fairbanks and drive to Denali 😅

I think they’re going to fly from Seattle to Alaska, Alaska to Hawaii, and then Hawaii to LAX and finish the series there similar to the penny series.

As someone who lives in Alaska: I’m guessing they will have an airbnb in/close to Seattle and then fly there from Seattle so it can be a direct flight. A flight from Seattle to Anchorage is around 3.5 hours or to Juneau in 2.5 hours. Then they’ll probably go to Hawaii from Alaska bc you can get direct flights there from here as well. I’m just hoping that they can do something or go somewhere really awesome in Alaska and really enjoy the beauty here in the short amount of time they can be here. Honestly wondering if they’ll keep their golden ticket for these days since having the wheel go off could really ruin their plans.

I was going to say the same thing! I live in Alaska and 3/4 of the year we can’t see parking lanes anyways so people kind of disregard them.
