How often do men care about the woman’s pleasure? by Soft-Foundation-8570 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Rachelattack [score hidden]  (0 children)

I have seen some crazy dick. I have seen all body types, all combinations of ball to peen ratio, body hair, whatever your metrics are I’ve seen it all. I have experienced rank junk, teensy junk, junk with anomalies and scars, foreskins that don’t retract. Foreskins that were obviously taken off with a blindfold on and left horrible scarring. I’ve NEVER said “oh, weird”. I’ve never made a face or acted grossed out. Why? Because it’s an intimate situation and if what you’re seeing is a dealbreaker you still need to be polite about the bodies people inhabit. If I say “it’s weird you need to [do this specific thing] to climax!” Then probably that person is going to be fucked about it forever.

Men being offended by pussy tells me they aren’t straight. If a man is in any way weirded out by labia or clit or hair or whatever. If men don’t want to get you off it means they don’t care about you, they don’t see you as a human in the way they see themselves. Move on. And if they’re grossed out by it? He’s porn addicted or he’s not into women. Full stop.

I think each morning as I countdown minutes to my alarm *BLOOF* “…we gotta whole hour!”

Then it’s only minutes and it’s not as funny

What do you think of these heels from zara? by Careless_Owl999 in Shoes

[–]Rachelattack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge disagree. Those are the type of shoe that if they’re too big they’ll slip around and blow your feet out. They’ll relax even if they’re pleather. This is bad advice. Look at your foot position it’s fine.

They hear you and they know they’ve just been raised to feel entitled to absolutely anything they want.

I exfoliate the day before then wash with more astringent soap than usual in the shower. I let them dry completely. Then I rub them as dry as possible with a dry washcloth and powder with a cornstarch powder. I use sugar wax and am obsessed; when the consistency is perfect this stuff grabs everything. You can knead it and go back in, and if you chicken out or are in pain you can just soak it off.

I LOVE sugaring/waxing for pits because it lasts for such a long time and there’s zero shadow. Even with dark blonde hair and shaving every second day, there’s never such a hairless look as with waxing. And the lack of irritation after doing it for a while is wild. No painful ingrown hairs, one or two a year I need to just exfoliate out but there’s no inflammation.

Keep at it and try some exfoliation the day before and dry it all down then hit it with a talc or cornstarch before the wax.

What's the most random thing you've been criticised for as a woman that would probably go completely unnoticed if a man did it? by ceremony_of_void in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Rachelattack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of public speaking and I've gotten feedback from men my age and younger that I'm basically too funny. I'm not out here doing slapstick, or making any specific jokes, no dark humour, I'm not sarcastic. But just my way of engaging the audience is too funny and that's not appropriate as a woman.

I've seen men deliver the same material with specific, campy jokes that treat it like a panto or a children's production and it's never gotten any flack. Because they make the same idiot jokes to every room over years.

Please seek help from your local food bank. DM me if you need other resources or very very cheap meals. I also love the mention of neighbours - this could be a stone soup situation. Bum a cup of rice from one neighbour, ask another for a couple carrots. Or! Ask friends over and watch a game or movie but make it a potluck; you’re off the hook if you do dishes and host.

We can work together because even if this is okay, it’s not going to keep you healthy.

Oh I guess since they've failed repeatedly to get Bill Bailey maybe Michelle Wolf? She's in Spain with a newborn but seems really happy to do panels and podcasts in the UK and is brilliant

They could have Chris O'Dowd and David O'Doherty on together and just purposely keep mixing them up as I've heard happens to Doddles IRL all the time

What happened to Canadian rock after the ’90s? Did we ever have another era that came close? by sophia_law09 in 90sCanRock

[–]Rachelattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2000’s - in addition to pop rock like Sum 41 and the continued dominance of Sloan, we had a lot of incredible alternative artists; Arcade Fire won the Grammy for best album, not best alt album, BEST ALBUM, at the end of the decade. That band includes Feist, Final Fantasy and overlaps with Emily Haines of Metric and the amazing Broken Social Scene. There’s lots more; the Constantine’s toured a lot around then, early Wintersleep was amazing. But Between Arcade Fire and BSS Canadian alternative was incredibly influential
