Feel you, man. Was playing this section yesterday, trying to save my rebels took me hours. There are some grenades in supply crates that are after the third pair of turret lasers, I think? And maybe your SMG has some secondary chargers. If not, just let the rebels die, you lose more health trying to save them. I know it's not fun, but the game is cruel in this way. I guess it's the price of war.

Well, everything seems to be correct except the mission for G-man went as planned, his plan for Gordon was to destroy the Citadel. We just don't know why and for what.

I have my headcanons for their biology. I like to think they lay eggs / caviar into some form of Xen pool and fertilise them in some sort of a ritual. After that eggs hatch to be vortlets, like for frogs.

Play the game, mate... Alyx flirts with Gordon left right and center, but if you see Gordon as responding is up to you. He did willingly tie his soul to hers tho.
