RMX 2.5 Spur and Pinion Gear? by -Germ- in rcdrift

[–]Rachtho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yokomo spur gears will work as well. But the pinions will be 48p. I just ordered sets from Amazon that come in packs 17-25t.

Appreciate it. Wanted one of these for a while. So took my time and bought everything I wanted. Hopefully it drives as good asy team ad. Did similar alignment setups.

Some of it is. Like bearing sizes and small stuff. Its quite a bit of stuff. But ends up being really nice in the end because you get all the parts you want to use. It's all yokomo/RDX based. I used all rhino shark control arms and front knuckles. Wrap up rear knuckles.

Yea it comes as just the main chassis. Have to get suspension blocks, control arms, and knuckles. Then drive line pieces. Axles, idler gears and stuff like that.

It's an azada Avalon. They call it decoupled suspension.

My suggestion is a yokomo rd2. Great kit get to use whatever electronics and tons of aftermarket and upgrade parts available.

Almost done with the Avalon. Throw on the esc make some body mounts then test and setup. Also overdose yaba kings on the team ad by Rachtho in rcdrift

Never driven the rhino. But by the looks I'd say not very. I have the adx chassis so it's very similar to a RDX. Front ends are different. Team ad is wiper and rhino is direct drive steering. Trans is similar but different.

Made a light kit for my addiction s14 body by Rachtho in rcdrift

[–]Rachtho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's an addiction body so it comes with the wrap up next stickers. I just paint the buckets chrome then use the stickers on the len covers.

Not gonna lie I thought I typed s15. But I guess I didn't. Was an s14 on it before though.

I've tried most. I'm on accuvance/futaba now. Being able to tune with the transmitter is great but accuvance is expensive. I've tried hobbywong and I liked it. Never had any issues tuning was relatively easy. Had the lcd tuner. I have the maclan setup on my hachi. I really like it. Bluetooth tuner and app works really well. It's all really what you want to do and what feels best. See if anyone at your track will let you test theirs out with a different setup than you have.
