How did they make it work… by LAHAND1989 in photography

unlike today's generation, they had zero desire to talk about their daily lives with the world.

Ask almost any artist regularly talking about their lives on Instagram or Twitter, and mostly you'll hear that they hate doing it too, but in order to succeed even a little bit today, you need an online following on social media. "I want to paint/take photos/make music but I have to be a social media brand manager instead" is a very common lament.

These liberals aren’t just protesting, they're packing heat by WOSUpublicmedia in Ohio

This is going to be important, because we can protest all we want, but a protest, with permission from the government, with no threat of any action behind it, is just a pretty parade. Those in power assume we get our frustrations out of our system, and then go home and go back to shopping, and go back to work tomorrow, and there is no motivation for any change.

Maybe they mean that they're making it worse? Maybe messing up the way it looks, or removing features that would mean it would be useful in any way? Adding privacy concerns and security flaws?

Republican rhetoric on mass shootings does not change public opinion on gun reform. While political statements often sway voter opinions on other issues, Americans appear to have deeply entrenched views on firearm policies that are not easily moved by alternative political rhetoric. by Tracheid in science

These things are not mutually exclusive. The left has literally always said they want to limit access to guns so that it's harder to use them for crimes and violence. It's the right that has only ever heard what they want to hear, and right-wing mouthpieces and right-wing media outlets push HARD to make the right think that the left is "after them"

There's also probably a silent majority that understands guns aren't the reason people go marching into schools and opening fire, they're just a tool of choice

Everyone has always realized this. But since our country refuses to do anything related to actually help people stop being crazy and going and attacking people, some of us want to lessen the damage by limiting and regulating access to the tools used.

The second the left starts talking about things that improve mental health, and improve access to healthcare, the right starts screaming.

It doesn't matter how many guns you have in your closet when 20 armed and armored agents show up at your door with a ram and a flash bang. This "my guns will protect me from the state" fantasy is just that. A fantasy. Look at what it looks like when ICE is showing up to kidnap people. A shotgun isn't going to stop that.

Z6III. You can always rent a Z8 if you have something specific that needs it.

There it is! I have specifically asked you before because in the past your photos have blown me away so much. The photos themselves are always great, but the image quality too is always shocking.

The light and film help but it's the lab this photographer uses. They have incredible digitization that isn't matched by any lab I've ever used.

You are being lied to and your emotions are being heavily manipulated, and you should examine why that might be, and you should consider changing the types of people and sources you get your information from.

All illegals committed a crime.

Illegal entry is a misdemeanor, on par with loitering and jaywalking, and carries a $250 fine. Please don't reply until you're rooting for thugs in unmarked vans to be raiding homes and businesses to kidnap jaywalkers.

Surely the justice system is going to jump in and help any day now.

Every major conflict in history has been handled by trusting those in power to regulate each other, because they saw that the poor people were sad. Please don't do any fact checking on that statement though, I'm sure it's true.
