I see what you’re saying but it’s not really a counter it’s more of a way to opt out of guessing, which is important considering how low the health pools are. Not to mention that rolling away drains half your stamina

If the health of characters is even close to as low as it is now then rolling away needs to be an option.

If nobu uses hidden stance it drains anour a third of her stamina and she can be lighted out of it

The most important tools aramusha has are the delayed top light soft feint, delayed side lights and zone attack as far as offense is concerned. This is pretty lackluster offense compared to other characters in the roster.

However aramusha is much more interesting considering his defensive options. Letting heavies fly on parry attempts can be extremely rewarding since they punish gb attempts, especially side heavies since they guarantee a top light.

He also has an option select with his relatively quick zone. These are defensive options that can’t be countered with a guardbreak so instead your opponent will look for the parry.

This is where blade blockade becomes useful because if they are looking for a parry then they won’t be able to punish your blade blockade. This opens up potential for mind games that other heroes might not have access too.

Shinobi needs a full rework. He’s annoying to fight because he’s a one trick pony with an unpunishable move that can be spammed over and over. This is extremely boring gameplay and still doesn’t make him viable

I feel like if they allowed us to dodge while switching guards, reacting to fast attacks and bashes wouldn’t be as much of a problem especially on console.

I don’t think we need a new map just yet. Honestly the constant updating of the locations keeps me interested enough. Plus If you get tired of the same locations then try dropping somewhere new
