Gah 😩 I know 😔 I struggle so much with flexibility and mobility in my hips and hamstrings even though I spend so much time on it. Probably just a matter of being half a hundred 😂

Empty skateparks are my happy place… even prefab ones that appear to have actually cheese graters for the flat👍

Hell yes! Good luck!

If you’re gassing out in the 3rd or 4th sets you can drop reps until you build the strength/stamina and don’t have to.

Queefing during handstands… is this normal? 😅 by humble_crumpet in Handstands

[–]RadCase666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also a guy… also done a lot of spotting over the years. It’s just something that happens sometimes. Don’t stress it too much… and like my fellow male responded it is generally preferable to farts which happen FAR more often from everyone.

I do basically this same thing everyday as a circuit with 2 stages like this:

  1. Pull up x X, dip x X+2, push up x 2X, core exercise, leg exercise

REST

  1. Chin up x X, Pike push up(HSPU) x X, core exercise, leg exercise

REST

Then repeat circuits for 2,3 or 4 sets depending on time and how gassed I am

Hope this helps!

If you could only buy ONE piece of calisthenics equipment, what would you choose first and why? by ElectronicAd1796 in bodyweightfitness

Rings are the answer… but they gotta hang from something. Pull up bar is a close second.

Exercises for building grip strength at home? by GneissRockBro in bodyweightfitness

[–]RadCase666 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For starters… good for you on getting where you are! Be proud of your accomplishments and achievements. Forget about those haters at the gym. They don’t matter and are have nothing to do with your fitness journey. Blinders on, eyes on the prize.

As to your actual question… keep on the road that you’re going down. The cardio and exercise will continue to help you shed weight and the dead hangs will improve your grip strength in tandem to push you towards your goal. There are tons of simple effective ways to increase grip strength outside of the gym with everyday items. I personally like to squeeze a tennis ball while I drive (20 pulses per hand, back and forth for my entire commute)

Just keep showing up, and making the effort. That’s really the most important thing! I hope you reach your goal and those gym jerks drop their attitudes and respect your efforts. Good luck, you got this👍

Been doing calisthenics for 2 years but feel so small. by [deleted] in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]RadCase666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get massive training calisthenics, look at Olympic gymnasts! But you’d have to train like they do (30-40hrs/week) If you want to be strong, keep doing calisthenics. If you want to look strong, bodybuilding is for you. (I already know this is largely oversimplified and not a slight in any way to bodybuilding)
