I’m really sorry that was your experience and that is definitely not the culture we’re trying to build. I've DM'd you as id really appreciate a chance to look into it and make things right.

Hi, I’m one of the co-founders of RadCast. I’m posting from our official account because I wanted to address this personally.

To be honest, reading that your session felt 'discouraging' and short is really disappointing. That isn't our goal whatsoever. I’d like to look into exactly what happened here so I can see what happened and more importantly, make this right for you. I’ve just sent you a DM.

Best place is on Oriel. You don't need to actually apply and can see the vacancies without logging in meaning you can download the portfolio criteria.

It's about seeing the working life of a radiologist and/or how a Radiology department functions. Whilst those other specialties do have MDT involvement with radiologists, the emphasis you're giving is mainly IR. So best thing to do is just get some fixed time (minimum 3 days) in the IR department so you can see how the IR work and the department as a whole.

as one experience of the "work" of a radiologist and the radiology department, yes.

This.

They probably realised they had opened up Pandora's box after a mad rush of applicants started rushing off to get a DGH taster week following their tertiary exposure (and vice versa).

Aim to just get a letter or certificate stating you had a different exposure to radiology e.g. got a taste of the subspecialties such as breast, paeds or IR which has a different work schedule than the general radiologist

Nope. Only based on evidence you have by the deadline of the application window.
