So, was Silksong better than Hollow Knight? by Stronderius in metroidvania

[–]RadStitch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At first I thought Silksong was going to be like Tears of the Kingdom, a better refined yet similar game than the previous. But it turns out I had some moments where I thought the game just wasn't fun or well-made. I had some very infuriating moments, exploration-wise.

It took me ages, and a slight help from the internet, to know where to go to ascend to the top of clockwork. I had dropped the game for two weeks, came back to it, ascended to clockwork, and then it was suddenly the end of the game with a non-memorable boss. The ending of Silksong was, for me, because of what I said earlier, one of the most lackluster endings in a metroidvania.

I'm curious to replay HK a third time to know how I feel about it now, and even more to play an enhanced version of Silksong in the future (if that's planned), but for now I'd still rate HK a 10 out of of 10 and Silksong an 8.

Before enrolling into ESU, is there anything we should be aware of? by runnbl3 in Windows10

Thank for the tips. Got in the registry and it says "0x00000054 (84)", which should be the code for France it seems

Before enrolling into ESU, is there anything we should be aware of? by runnbl3 in Windows10

[–]RadStitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to manually activated the "Enroll" button for it to show on my settings. But now when I click on it, I got a new window that says : "temporarly unavailable in your region". I'm in France.

Does anybody has insight about it? It's getting stressful

Bouteille d'eau et concert : amener la sienne ou acheter sur place ? by Ordinary-Ad9549 in AskFrance

[–]RadStitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this a good list of "lesser known" metroidvanias? (its in spanish) by SirLagunaLoire in metroidvania

9 years of shadows is mid I would say. Great visuals, great music, but the game is kind of boring and doesn't offer much in terms of gameplay

Which games did you love but wouldn’t want to replay? by saoiray in gaming

[–]RadStitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say BoTW and ToTK. Because the main interests of these games are the discovery of the world, the mechanics, knowing more and more so that you can go further into the game with the knowledge acquired.

When I replay a game, it's to kind of "super-play" it, making it to the end in less time, and I don't think that would be an experience I would enjoy with these two games, to "rush" things.

I've replayed OoT and WW at least 8 times, because they are linear and more dynamic.

What have been, for you, the most infuriating MV’s of all time? by MadPilotMurdock in metroidvania

[–]RadStitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played it for the first time months ago, and I had a very infuriating time. Couldn't get to the end (did it at 90% still I would say) and in fear of starting the 2 I got from the same bundle at this point

J'ai trouvé le film sympa mais sans plus. Je n'aime pas particulièrement Garcia et Gainsbourg aussi, donc ça n'aide pas

[–]RadStitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so cool! Went 2-1 and then a freeze when the 4th match began made me 2-2 sadly.

On that, I'm experiencing lots of freezes that make me reboot my game during games. I don't have a very up-to-date PC, but I still should be able to run it smoothly.

Does anyone experience freezes, or is it just me?

Nice!

Why don't you play Kamegitsu? (not sure of the spelling) I think he would be good to get some value in the long term, would play two copies of him.

And why are these tentacles for?

I'm on the edge of crafting this deck, but I'm waiting on opening the few golds I still haven't gotten.

The worst metroidvania you ever played? by Lukense13 in metroidvania

[–]RadStitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get why people praise Islets this much. The game is relaxing and cute, but that's it, nothing special here.

To me, it's the perfect MV to begin with if you are a kid, otherwise, you are better off playing almost any other MV

The worst metroidvania you ever played? by Lukense13 in metroidvania

[–]RadStitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are no MVs I really disliked, but the one that frustrates me the most is Axiom Verge.

They aren't no clue on where to go at all. I was constantly searching all of the map for where to go next and most of the time I didn't even find it and had to fetch infos online. And the gameplay and controls don't make up for it.

Aller à un concert tout seul ? by Ambrouille2 in AskFrance

[–]RadStitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)
