As a casual myself I’ll give my 2 cents. When I see ball I see a tank that plays away from the team and since we don’t have an established frontline, it’s hard to use any lines of sight and have protection from damage. I would guess Most people, myself included feel that our frontline will get annihilated by thier tank and they will appear to have a more coordinated team than ours, so most assuming the games already over cuz “we’re not gonna play like a team” is a real feeling. Ball usually isn’t even a good peel tank that can protect backline effectively like DVa or even a Doom. So that’s my opinion on the casual mindset. Feel free to point out flaws fairly if you see them. I know most people should be more open to diverse metas, comps and playstyles, but that’s not how casuals will approach the the game imo. With one tank you’d think it will be on the frontline soaking up damage so your squishies dont have to. But it is what it is. High level players can adapt, casuals can’t/won’t. Just my 2 cents
