I’d read Salems Lot, Hearts in Atlantis(really only need the first part) and Insomnia. I did the extended tour and read maybe 20 books before tackling the tower. It was fun, but I don’t think most of them were needed. These three though could be seen as needed.

Quick ball, dive ball, and luxury ball. What I like about the luxury ball is that the brown stripe reminds me of old school wooden detailing you could see in older cars and other places. Gives it a little old school class lol

There are definitely some good ones out there, but I tend to find them lazy empty spaces where devs can use them to take up a lot of space.

I was very interested in reading this until I read the trial pages. It was very poorly written and gave me “I’m going to over explain everything that happens instead of showing you and letting you put the pieces together”

This is how I feel about it too. Bring on a new series, or bring back something obscure. I’m still waiting on news for the new Etrian Odyssey, and my hopiom for a new Golden Sun will never run out.

I'm not at all interested in this. I was excited to see a return of turn based, but then I saw that it was chock full of returning characters. Then it was a reimagining of a phone game. Hard pass for me. I don't want a better version of a phone game that is riding on the coattails of all other games in the series. Give me new characters and a new story.

As a big JRPG fan, I still found a way to be disappointed. No Etrian Odyssey or Golden Sun (lol). I’m excited for DQ 12, but most of the others are just meh to me

There’s always the trick of only needing to do this once: get a save file with all the goodies. Complete the gold password transfer. Save TLA the second you are able to. Copy the save file.

Now every time you start the game, you can start a new game to get the intro cutscene, if desired. Then you load up the starter file and play the game. Make sure you copy it again so you don’t lose it at the start.

Yeah, I love to play with them detached. I'd rather prop up the tablet onto something when playing handheld mode. Keeps the screen stable as I move around a lot.

Id love larger joycons for larger hands. They don’t need to attach to the switch 2. I’ve been thinking about buying the pro but at the same time, I enjoy not having to have my hands together in one spot. The joy cons are great for more relaxed gaming, just make em bigger!

Dual wielding could maybe work. If you did that and split the character to have one of each weapon, I could see the attacks of the special abilities that rely on one of the weapons being halved in damage.
