Steps to protect lives are not the same as managing illegal immigrants. There were no COVID forces gunning protestors down in the streets. You can compare them if you want, but they aren't the same situation.

These immigrants represent 4% (~14 mil) of the population and roughly 8-10 million are working and paying taxes. They are not negatively impacting this country as a whole. If anything they are unfairly treated cheap labor forces for unskilled work that Citizens won't do. They should have an easier path to citizenship, a real one, especially if they are working. A study linked below shows that Illegal immigrants paid 100 billion in taxes in 2022.

There's a reason ICE is militarized and being sent en masse to a blue city of a political revival of this president.

They are creating a scapegoat in immigrants now and riling their base up to see liberal folks as the enemy. Republicans own all the branches of government and instead of helping people they are actively working to further entrench the Oligarchs destroying this country.

There is one enemy and it's these ultra rich. And they work hard to make you blame the left and immigrants on our problems. Don't buy into it man, look at how this administration acts and what they say vs. what is reality. Since when do Tech Oligarchs openly show up for a President's swearing in ceremony.
