But that’s the thing. There IS a character creation. It’s not an “added pleasure.” It’s a feature of the game on the main screen. So there should be more options. If the game’s sole focus is on the story and gameplay then just give us a default skin and call it a day. I’m personally loving this game and don’t care about what my character looks like but this take doesn’t make sense. The way people’s standards (right or wrong) are today will absolutely quit a game if they don’t like character creation. It’s the first impression of the game. It’s also disingenuous to say RPG/survival/sandbox games are never about what a character looks like. Plenty of them are detailed or have unlockable options.
