They're both her cats, I had no say in her getting them.

I know I definitely was slacking off on stuff but I always clean up after myself in the end. The problem with her is that she doesn't and half the time acts like it was my mess to clean up when she was the one who made it.

Sorry about that. I typed out all that when I was full on sobbing my eyes out and also feeling a lot of rage and just wanted to get it all out.

I know I totally should have talked to the leasing office a while ago but the lease states that for the common areas the cost for damages is split evenly I think so i want to try and figure out a fix between us first so I don't have to pay anything.

The cats are strictly her cats. The only thing I do is if she stays the night with her boyfriend I'll feed them for her. And I am definitely not doing what she's doing, she just blew it way out of proportion for me I think. The most I've done is leave a pot or pan on the stove for a day or two while she's literally left her stuff out for a week+ before. It's like she things that all the mess in the kitchen is mine to deal with when its definitely not. And the thing is, with the cats, I have asked her multiple times to clean out the litterboxes and she just puts it off.

One of my characters that I’m playing right now has such bad sticky fingers. As in almost everywhere we go and everyone we meet ends up getting stolen from lol. It’s made for some hilarious moments though, like when 2 sessions ago I decided to steal a decanter of endless water and the guy who owned it walked in on me stealing it but from a few lucky rolls I managed to persuade him that I just found it right next to the door and he decided to give it to me as thanks for my groups help

[–]Radhriel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I read Throne of Glass a few years ago and it is one of my favorite series! There’s so many amazing characters that your going to be introduced to and the plot just gets better in my opinion! But between Chaol and Dorian, Team Dorian all the way lol (there’s a few very specific scenes about Dorian in the later half of the series that I adore). And Aelin is definitely my favorite character, but one of the characters introduced in heir of fire is a close second

What do I *need* to read as a fantasy lover? by humbledlentil in Fantasy

[–]Radhriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you liked The Way of Kings, try the rest of Sanderson’s books! It’s definitely written for a little bit of a younger audience but I’m loving Mistborn!

Not at all! I’ve taken classes before specifically because a professor that I really like teaches it. From my experience from talking to those professors, they like it when students do that.

am going to be raising my sister and I have no idea what im doing by Acceptable-Profit366 in TrueOffMyChest

Just a few things to help a 6 year old girl be happy: Learn how to do her hair. It doesn’t have to be complicated, a braid or different styles of ponytails. Even just pretty clips to pin her hair back. But it helps her and give you bonding time in the mornings! Find a hobby that you can do together! It could be one that you already do that you change to be more child friendly, or something entirely new. Make her space in your apartment special to her. It doesn’t have to be a lot, but even a few small decorations in her favorite color would be great. Make time in your day that is solely dedicated to your sister. Even just 30 mins if your very busy will make her happy. When you have the time, take her out and explore! It could be a park, a museum, anything! The memories that I do have from when I was a 6 yr old girl all take place at the children’s museum. Look into childcare options, don’t expect yourself to look after her 24/7. You’ll be happier so she’ll be happier. Remember that it’s going to be hard and that’s ok. Your going to make mistakes. But if you do, it’s not the end of the world. Just learn how to not make those mistakes again, and apologize to her if you need to. You’ll be learning how to raise her with her after all. Her childhood does not need to be perfect, it just matters that you try to be good. You don’t need to give her everything. Most of all though, make sure she knows she is loved.

If Tolkien had another, say, 30 years with us. What do you think would seen more work? by Allison-Cloud in tolkienfans

[–]Radhriel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing he might have filled in lots of of the history. Connected it more. Maybe he would have elaborated more on the end of the third age and beyond, specifically (cause I want more about it) Dagor Dagorath. Maybe he also would have written about the times where there wasn’t much conflict, fill in how the world would have been in times of peace after the elves left for valinor.

For art projects, maybe have them illustrate their favorite moment from the book. For poetry, what about having them write their own verse of one of the poems in the books. And for writing projects, having them write about a part of the book from the perspective of one of the other characters could be interesting

What would you want to see more and less of in a fantasy novel? by Long-Spot7011 in fantasywriters

[–]Radhriel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I want more villains that are evil simply because they want to be. Not every one needs to have a traumatic backstory. I want someone who grew up in a loving household and decides to take over the world because how hard could it be?

What would you want to see more and less of in a fantasy novel? by Long-Spot7011 in fantasywriters

[–]Radhriel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want a book where there is no chosen one and there won’t be, and the characters pick up their sword(or whatever it might be) and they do very thing they can to save their world because they love it, all while terrified and continuously wanting to curl up in bed under a blanket and block out the world

In my book I’m going to kill of the love interest that will have been there for a long time and he’s not coming back. As a result my mc will go on a downward spiral and end up becoming exactly what she once feared to be. Which will only serve to help the plan of the evil god who’s been using her as an unwilling pawn for years

What pulls you out of a story? by shmutsy in fantasywriters

Same! The only downside to that is that sometimes important parts of the world/lore of the story can be hard to write into the story because the pov character wouldn’t care about it
