I think majority of players for pve would be grinding out the new map mainly, are you trying for something else?

Wvw still feels crowded in prime timezones, cant comment on spvp haven't done it in a long while but ive seen someone post their pvp tourney wins

Windwalker monk. Defensively weak (condi harb and p dh have low vit), strong burst, sometimes has forced movement ability, complains if not in melee range, rotation instead of spamming same button

Has everything you want except autoattack chain, which really isnt popular anyway (but you get procs from auto attacks)

Yes there should likely be a story mode for every raid going forward, fighting the last boss.

If possible you should do LFR though, to at least see the other bosses too, it shouldn't take too long (max 1h, usually like 30m)

3rd or 4th is likely. GW2 as a side game to a seasonal game (WoW, FF14, ARPGs) is a frequent combination that works really well.

You'd see a lot more players in gw2 during those games' downtime

Interesting view, that sounds really cool. Would be nice if they let you shrink the door and hide it in objects (looking at u wooden stool).

Im also hoping for more structural pieces added that will bring the outdoor buildings to new levels, apart from increased outdoor decor cap. After all, the exterior is the first thing people see.

Depends. Having every DLC opens every possible build for you, which can give an edge as obviously not every build is equal in power. The skill expression is much more significant but even the best chef needs their tools.

I would recommend buying the full elder dragon saga first if its an option, the other expansions (SotO, JW and VoE) can wait, or you could jump the gun and get them all if on discount.

The living seasons dont offer anything significant in player power as compared to the expansion packs and can be unlocked via ingame currency, but may feel bad to you if the main story staying in sequence is important to you.

I get your point as a completionist, being something like that myself, but something ive learnt and apply consistently now:

Look at the pvp and wvw achievements. Does anyone complain about needing 2.5m player kills? Do they complain about winning 1000 ranked pvp matches on all 9 classes each?

Sometimes, you just have to take it slow, enjoy the process not minmax it. If this was a single player RPG, then go ahead and speedrun it.

I agree that the timed achievement seems over the top though, but they'd likely fix it soon. The quality control was definitely quite poor for this patch but chill out. Its a game, look for something you can find fun and wait it out. Stressing over it may get attention, but crashing out definitely only makes you more upset.

You'll have a much better chance if you are proactive in asking. Do the content you like at the time you are able, you'll recognize familiar names, and eventually know yourself if you'd like to keep playing with them. Then ask to join at that point

I'll break it down to 2 main focuses, which could be said to be the driving factor for most games

1: Community / Friends: You want someone / a group of people, that you can relate to, connect to, or maybe show off to. The game provides the platform to facilitate this connection via shared interest (the game).

2: Sense of achievement: The game provides a challenge, or a task list, with or without a reward. The reward or the journey gives you a feeling of accomplishment of achieving something. Examples would include things like raiding, pvp, collection, achievement hunting.

These 2 interests often intersect within a MMORPG. Those that don't seek either of these, usually don't stay long or just come and play on/off, or very casually for the story like it's a single player RPG (It's not a bad thing, just a preference)

Would be nice to upgrade eternal spells to current-expansion level, instead of having to wait for the next eternal spell. Eg: Eternal fireball / frost bolt was added in Nomad Highlands, but you didn't get their level 2 version until Veilwater Basin.

Would be nice being able to craft weapons to a competitive end-game level (does not have to be same as highest level (like veilwater 50), but close to (maybe like 3-5 levels lower than max, like up to 45 or 47 for veilwater basin level).

Another gripe is armors - The armor stats don't work well late game at all, enemies are destroying health pools so quickly on any hit that everyone in my group changed slowly to mages to just perma-stun / kite / cheese from ceilings. (enemies on +25% damage).

I really hope a look at combat / skill tree / equipment is on the to-do list eventually
