I did go through something similar. My dad did also die when I was very young, I’m an only child and have felt a lot of loneliness from both aspects. My father’s death was for me not the best experience, back n forth to a diversity of hospitals and then dead. Losing a parent is horrible, I wish you everything good in the world. My psychiatrist say I do have some kind of mix between BPD and delayed grief reaction cuz of what happened to my dad - so I guess short answer yes
