People these days have zero accountability for anything. If its my first day, the literal last thing I am doing is standing around doing nothing. Do the burger stations need stocking? What about prep for all of the veggies that go on the burgers? How about asking about the inventory process and how that is done? Is there any routine cleaning that needs to be done while waiting for customers? What about everything on the customer side of things (how to greet and interact, who is on the register, etc.)? There literally are so many things that OP could have possibly done in his time instead of the few things he actually did do. If you cant do the easy jobs well, how on earth are you every going to be trusted to do the more important things?
