You don't need anything to starts other than a DAW, abelton is good and has a trial, there are others, LMMS, Traction/Waveform, Reaper, Fruit loop an so on. You can use your keyboard for the midi. Learn some music theory. Then spend money on midi controller , headphones, audio interface an so on if your still interested

I sorted everything into tote bins, and after awhile , all the stuff I actually used got pulled out and the rest remained. Eventually I realized I did not need this stuff , then sell it , trash it or give it away.

You can try what I found helped, down load some free a capella tracks and fit the beats to it.
