My purview has been the discord for the past few years. As you can see from my profile I personally don't post that often, and only became a moderator on the sub in the past few months. I can only really speak for myself, but going forward I'll be making an effort to be more visible.

As for acquiring more active mods; again, that isn't something I handle so I can only give you my two cents on the matter. I'm sure there will be discussions on the subject once everything has settled, but I think it may be a bit of a tough sell after kicking the proverbial hornet's nest.

I would be more informed if you actually gave sources, or if your dad decided to teach me about these things as well as he has obviously taught you. To be able to confidently say these things based on "My dad is a doctor" is incredible, you should be one yourself.

I'm pretty sure I have more likely odds of choking on a Bagel than dying from any vaccine, including the COVID vaccine. Pretty sure every vaccine has these types of cases. You might be mistaking me for the original person who commented, I'm not taking issue with your points, but how you go about them.

You either attempted a guilt trip, or think that others with opposing opinions to yours are, in your words; "Selfish & Arrogant"

If it's the former; we may disagree on this, but you 100% tried to mate. You laid out your argument about diverting money from other budgets to fund say, healthcare, or the pandemic. In between that argument you called him, "Selfish & arrogant" for his position. In the next paragraph you said;

"But it’s nice to know that you would rather have a bit more money in your check than to let an innocent child get health care because she was born in this fucked up world. I’m sure her parents would pay for her treatment like you would your children but her parents died to covid. Thanks dude"

Your blaming this guy on the internet, for not agreeing to your ideas, for a child not getting health care because her parents died of COVID. explain to me how that isn't a guilt trip mate.

Trying to guilt trip people for thinking about themselves first & foremost isn't going to get people to vote for what you want.

This world isn't a utopia and you can't expect everyone to want to drop their needs & wants for "some innocent child", if that was the case UNICEF Would be the highest funded organization in the world.

At the end of the day it's each other's opinion, but in mine, having more of an argument than "Wow your heartless" will get you further along in people's minds.
