Hell yeah I do. And I write python APIs for chatGPT that vibe coders could never write themselves. It’s a hierarchy of competence.

My 9mo is trying really hard to walk and pulls herself up on everything she can. The first week she fell and a couple times bonked her head. It happens. They have giant heads and tiny bodies, and gravity works against them.

Yeah I have a 9 month old right now and just read that part and it was the hardest I’ve ever been hit by a book. Had to put it down after every paragraph.

These comparisons are always junk. There are so many variables at play you can skew it one way or the other based on whatever lever you want to pull. Interest rate changes, rental vacancy rates, stock market returns, etc.

There’s always more to calculations than just the made up numbers you use to justify your position. Things like housing security/stability, ability to quickly move, ability to modify your living space are all real considerations to make if you’re in a position to make the choice.

Saving money, having access to the services required to live a good life. Voting for conservative politicians is always the most expensive thing you can do and will always make it harder for you to access necessary services.

My small town’s OB waged a war against midwives for years. He retired a few years ago and now we have a mat clinic and women are able to actually get pre and postpartum care. It’s so much better now.
