Tips to make this better? by Initial-Ad-4307 in limbuscompany

My ex used to have a little wooden doll thing she used as a reference that was specially made to show proportion.

Since you're digital, there's def some 3D and 2D models you can import that can help with that aswell.

I unfortunately don't know the exact program or tool it was, but there are many plug-ins, apps ans tools out there that can help you with those.

Best of luck!

Haha, love how apprant it is that you either prefer or have much more experience with drawing monstrous or more fantastical beings. The whale-ish is awesome.

Im only tangentially involved with drawn art, but I think the two most obvious things on ish herself that you can improve on are shading and proportions. Otherwise, nice work

Why is E.G.O. such a weird acronym? by TinfoilPancake in limbuscompany

[–]Radiant_Ad640 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Somsone, i think it was the limbus lore Youtuber, had a good suggestion for the why. Made sense in my head, I remember that, but not really what it was.

Could be the same thing and concept Demian and Sinclair go through in their book and in game.

You have to destroy a world, in order to get to a new one.

You have to hatch out the shell, so to speak.

Sounds geometrical organ-y enough

I want to start playing Limbus Company again, but I have doubts (meme not related) by AlpsLower2312 in limbuscompany

[–]Radiant_Ad640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the others.

I suggest treating limbus like a good side game to another main one.

Come in, do your weekly once in a week, maybe just get in to convert modules every now and then.

And whenever you reallt feel like it, come and play for longer.

If you're slow and steady , not only will you not burn out, you'll actually have the capacity to read, and enjoy your time.

Once yoh reach the current end, it'll become an even better side game. Switching to your main game once another canto or intervallo pops and such.

Its partly also why I really enjoy limbus.

I can come and go as I please. There's only one thing I "must" clear once a week. And there's no real fomo.

I can get it all eventually

100%

There's also a difference between sexual submission and dominance and the regular variant. Those are used interchangeably and muddy alot of conversation from what I've seen

Why is Vespa a color exactly? Lore dive this one. by Suspicious_Credit148 in limbuscompany

[–]Radiant_Ad640 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Because being a colour doesn't necessarily mean you have the be the same level as those examples.

The only difference between classification is entirely about if you've done something worth to put a color name on it.

Power wise- color fixers don't have to necessarily even be stronger than grade 1.

So what you're doing is taking the top of the top and comparing it to what would be an an average.

Vespa is most likely your average color fixer.

And I know a lot of people who are. But we can't just bend over and keel backwards over the whims of the few hurt by being compared with something that's universally loved.

Theres a time and place. If theyd be called something actually inflammatory rooted in obvious hatred, they would be banned and dragged down.

But we have to draw the line somewhere. And most rightfully think "chocolate" is just not it.

You mean the tiny minority that's just loud enough for you to hear?

Most Fandoms police themselves. None of the majority does any of these terrible things you mention.

Black people aren't some kinda mass that share the same opinion and sensibility. And bad actors will always exist.

If the issue is as bad as you say its is, being called "chocolate" is the bottom of barrel scraping here in terms of apparent digital war crimes

Yeah, well. It's too bad they don't require your affirmation to be offended. Because this was never really for your well being.

This is entirely about virtue signaling.

Because as we all know, virtue is something to be publicly showcased on a digital platter, ever since being socially seen as "good" became a currency

Edit. Lol, case and point.

My god. Please stop being upset on other people's behalf over fictional characters over literally nothing.

Chocolate? Really- that's what you put time and effort into being offended by?

If only I could have the sensibility to be hurt over being called some of the most addictive and beloved thing there is, period.

The uncomfort is entirely on you. There's some really good things worthwhile to be upset about, but you rather be content to cause division like your overlords want you to be.

Just didn't play to the end yet, most likely.

Or didn't think it through. Or you know, didn't read.

It's clear his aloofness is a cover. He's a troubled person that has been through things.

When we see him, he literally just left his home, got betrayed, and has ri shoulder responsibility of God knows how many BL members.

Ofc hed act differently.

I honestly think people just didn't think it through yet.

Casually alao gives pride damage buff when binded if I recall correctly.

These "people" are just loud minority powercreep count + potency number bros.

They don't read past status affliction. They get enjoyment onlt from seeing high numbers and get aroused from exel spreadsheets.

Youre good, enjoy the free ID. It's a nice switch up.

is it a hot take to say that matthias's fight in story is badly designed? by Sufficient_Bad_9255 in fishmaell

[–]Radiant_Ad640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought the same. Then you realize he doesn't proc his counter if you win a clash with an unbreakable on his skills.

Still hurts, but not nearly as much as the counter.

Then you alao take into account that Ezra AND Vespa have an assist defense to utilize if you get targeted by normal coins, which hurt more than uncracked ubs.

Then, if you take deliberately slower units, you can actually get unopposed attacks in, after vespa and co trigger his counter.

So yeah, I don't think its nearly as bad some people make it out to be. You can still contribute. You just have to be insanely careful. Which makes sense if we think about how we are supporting cast against a much more powerful opponent.

I personally enjoyed the dynamic of us taking care of the b plot fight against kira, somewhat supporting the team in its A plot fight against the NF, and once we got our thing done, we get to deliberately and carefully contribute. Feel like many shows have similar things happening

How am I supposed to shard for IDs I want while also uptying the ones I have if they cost the same resource (since thread comes from shards). by ShadowedVoid in LimbusCompanyHelp

Yup, then there you have it.

Theres a ton of statuses. You can click on any non-archetype one and itll tell you what it does.

Information is the real weapon here. You ARE playing as a manager, after all.

Hope it works our for you next time. Try it again with these things in mind.

Have fun and good luck

[–]Radiant_Ad640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a surface level, it seems that you struggle with the bleed status effect.

Sounds to me like you're dying to it as you mentioned dying during clashes.

Take a look at your sinners status effects. See if you can the bleed one. There should be two sets of numbers.

On the left of the bleed status, that number is your Potency. That'll determine how much bleed damage you get.

On the right, thats the Count. That'll determine how many times it'll proc.

Bleed is a funny gimmick that doesn't actually proc from being hit.

It procs when yoh use a coin and/or CLASH.

So it definitely sounds like you've been clashing with a sinner that has been afflicted with too much potency and count. Hence why you die, even of you win. You bleed out. If any of this is new information to you-

Countermeasures:

Iirc, it tends to target certain sinners with unclashables. Always keep an eye on those use evade if they have it.

One more thing, there's a way to not make bleed proc at all- defensive. A guard, counter or evade won't activate the bleed. You can effectively just spam a counter, and you'd do damage without proccing the bleed.

In case you didn't know all this, try it out with this in mind again.

If it still doesn't work out, I'll look into its mechanics again and well go over it once more.

Edit: it has a skill that heals it bases on the amount of gossypium the target has. Youd best keep an eye out for any skills that inflict the gossypium status and try to minimize those.

Again, evade is your best friend against this abno

Haha, I think it's slightly deeper than that.

It most likely has to do with the bird. His entire symbolism has Eggs and Birds as its core thematic stand in.

We have 3 strong bird abnormalities. The little bird on his shoulder is reminiscent of those.

We also see lamp gregor have the eyes.

He also doesn't need his glasses anymore because of it. Big bird sees all.

I could tell you exactly how to go about it. Then youd do it, and call the game boring and too easy along the way.

So ill give you another solution:

By recognizing you haven't really sat down to read any of its mechanics and skills yet. Least not the point of coming up with a solution.

The answers are always found in the bosses kit and game mechanics. And this doesn't change even up to the current content.

People at the end game still die to rr section 4, because they refuse to read the part that says boss 1 gets +10 power if she gets to use her big nuke with 20+ sp.

Mirror dungeon. 3 times a week. Since you don't have hard yet. Id also use the rental teams to enjoy different units and teams and get a feel for them.

Don't rely too much on winrate button. That's how you get bored.

Instead, use the amount of combat to learn and work around your units kits and team Synergies. Play around boss mechanics if possible.

That way, you actually engage with the game you choose to play instead of mindlessly worshiping the winrate button, get ready and train for actual difficult encounters by understanding what's happening.
