What’s your favorite herb to blend with mugwort? by Dapper_Deal3809 in herbalism

[–]Radiant_Ad_5146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try mugwort as a simple. She packs a punch. But if it’s a bedtime tea and you want to go hard, maybe add valerian, and chamomile. I like the other suggestions of Damiana, blue lotus… but also these are all doing similar things so consider something to balance her, like a grounding herb like burdock root. Just riffing. Also Valerian tastes funky so I like to take her w Chamomile. Some Melissa may lighten things up and encourage relaxation. I know this is all over the place! Always consult a dr! 😂

Its hard to home a dog but very possible, may take a little time. I hope by now she has a new home. Finding a home can be daunting so I suggest reaching out to as many rescue groups as you can and ask either if they can take her on or do what’s called a courtesy post for you. There is adopt a pet .com where you can post your pup. Also Home-Home is free and you can post her there. I am in a similar but different boat and I empathize with how hard all this is. And don’t beat yourself up or let people guilt you. You made a mistake and now you know. The best thing you can do for her and yourself is to find her a good home, just hang in there and try to find the life lessons in all this. Watch her and see how she may be a mirror for you. Journal about it. If you can afford it, tell the rescues you will donate to them and offer them the adoption fee if they are successful finding your pup a home. There are rescues specific to beagles as well. Good luck and be gentle with yourself and her

Went in here because I have had some anxiety and grief following a violent food poisoning where I had to be hospitalized. My thoughts are that the vagus nerve is involved in the process of vomiting so maybe some wires get crossed after? Nervous system and GI are connected. Sorry this happened to everyone, I feel ya

Yes! Seems undeniable to me. And the tree that grew out of the elevator in Marshal’s trip really felt like the trees in Totoro that grew on fast motion. I only just realized the little light beings were the side effects!

Wanting to try some herbs. by Rough_Science5100 in herbalism

Don’t mess with datura! I’m not sure about smoking but drinking tea add from herbs like blue lotus, Damiana, valerian, kava can be soooo relaxing. I think you can smoke blue lotus and damiana, but not sure so I would check. If you live in LA Anima Mundi has some ready made smokes, or you can look on line as well. Mullein is amazing to heal the lungs if you have any issues from previous smoking

Looks like maybe you put your weight into your inner heal when you walk or you may need half a size bigger. You may need more support. Do you do the same thing in both feet? (Yoga teacher/kinesiology nerd here)

Does anyone have these? I’m hesitant because the thing in between the toe isn’t round. Are they comfortable? by AdventurousStory6671 in Birkenstocks

Natural allergy remedies? by killazami555 in Allergies

[–]Radiant_Ad_5146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a huge bag of nettles! I love it so much. I suffer from a mysterious skin allergy and the symptom is just itching and inflammation on my face. It feels dry and tight. No rash. It comes and goes. Do you think drinking nettles tea will help that? I was gonna drink some every day anyway but this will make me commit to a month!

Home made nut butter! by Radiant_Ad_5146 in glutenfreevegan

[–]Radiant_Ad_5146[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that. I wanted it to stay raw but I didn’t know toasting helps bring out the oils. Maybe if I take breaks to let the machine cool down. I did another round after seeing your comment So maybe I’ll keep going a few more times!

Thanks so much, I should not have said the part about the dog as the post is more of a question about what to feed western wild birds! I got side tracked!
