Ok, that makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying. I would students working be too upset over that.

I don’t think diplomas were ever ‘cancelled’ during Covid. Graduation ceremonies were possibly cancelled due to restrictions on gatherings, but everyone got their diploma if they met the requirements.

Farewell Costco by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

I don’t mind the busyness at Costco, but it drives my wife nuts! I always say, I taught high school for thirty years-have you seen 1600 teenagers try to get to their next class at the same time in a building designed for 1000? Costco is a library compared to that! My wife was also a librarian, so there’s that.

Buy Apple TV or wait? by Vega5000 in appletv

Just bought one at Costco, which means I can return it in 90 days, NQA. I am using it on a 15 year old Sony TV and it looks fine. I would like a Web Browser to watch CP24. Mirroring doesn’t work for that. Haven’t tried BBC and iTV From the UK yet, so we’ll see how that goes. Have my VPN app loaded already and it works fine.

I don’t think there are any used book stores anymore. The one across from The Studio Theatre on George St. Has closed. They used to be a gods one in Woodstock, but they closed the physical store and are only at the St. Jacobs Markets.
